To start fishing you need to have completed the quest to get you fishing pole and start buying bait. With fishing you can get fish (healing items). There is a variety of fish you can have that have different effects.

== Quest ==
To start the quest take the west exit from Prontera. Then go once more west using the northwestern exit. Go to southern part of the northern part of the island.

Fisherman will ask you for some item to start teaching you fishing:
*20 Thin trunks (Parasite)
*20 Sticky mucus (Many monsters including: Poporing, Hode, Orc Zombie, Zenorc)
*10 Fine-grained trunks (Willow)
*5 Tough vines (Dryad)
*1 Metal fragment (Apocalypse, Vesper, [[Mining]])

After giving fisherman the items he will teach you how to fish. Pay attention to the order, he will ask you how to fish afterwards.

After completing the fishing quest you can start fishing. The normal fishing spot is just below the fishing man in the water. It's invisible so try hovering your mouse near the beach till you find it. Fishing requires bait which you can buy from the fisherman.

Located inside Glast Heim sewers.

To get there you will need to go through Glast Heim church and take the lower Est exit. In the new map(dark loard is in this map) take the exit to the west. Once in the sewer map walk south (watch out for gargoyles) and the advanced fishing spot should be beside a small bridge.
In order to start fishing here you will need to be base level 60. You will not obtain guppies anymore at the advanced fishing spot.

Mining

Mining is done in the coal mines. You can get there by using the Kafra at Al de Baran(they call is Mjolnir Dead Pit).

War of Emperium a.k.a. WoE is a guild-versus-guild event that takes place two times per week. The objective of WoE is to attack a castle and try to reach the emperium room. Inside the emperium room lies the emperium which you have to break in order to occupy the castle for yourself and your guild.

Castle owner of any castle and their guildmates get access to all 4 guild dungeons, flip the switch and you will be offered a menu with all 4 dungeons choice.

Each castle also generates treasures, those appear in a special room accessible only to the castle owner (guild leader). Everyday a certain number of chest will appear, calculated as follows:

(Economy/5) + 4 = Number of chest spawned.

The chests will be selected at random from all castle chests available (we wanted to ensure that our lower number of castles does not hinder access to any items.)

Economy can be raised by investing to the castle, a maximum of 2 investment per day is possible (can only be done by the guild leader).

Note: In the rare occurrence of a server crash or if a reboot occurs before you had time to pick up the treasures, chests will NOT be spawned back.
