Monster Extermination is a monthly repeatable quest that is account bound. Try to help Jack and his friends to exterminate monsters all around the world of Ragnarok! Jack and his friends are busy people and can only visit you certain days of the week. Also they will never be found each time in the same exact spot on the map as they move about the map they are located. However, Desmond can be found in the same spot as he fears losing his constant.

1. Go to Prontera and talk to Jack (Prontera 253, 212).

2. He then will ask you to help him and his friends to kill some monsters, and tell you to hunt 250 of an item, and to visit one of his friends while the items are in your inventory. (locations of these at end of guide).

Mining

Mining is done in the coal mines. You can get there by using the Kafra at Al de Baran(they call is Mjolnir Dead Pit).

The Patch Server and Control Panel run on a different computer.

We barely ever have any down time and if we need to keep the server down for maintenance it's advertised in advance.

The Patch Server and Control Panel run on a different computer.

We barely ever have any down time and if we need to keep the server down for maintenance it's advertised in advance.

Our server is [[Woe]]-oriented, to keep the wars fun and action-filled we only opened 4 castles so far. The server is based in EST time (Eastern part of America), but we tried to make sure the hours were also convenient for PST residents (Pacific) and that the [[Woe]] hours do not prevent most people from having a social life.

To start fishing you need to have completed the quest to get you fishing pole and start buying bait. With fishing you can get fish (healing items). There is a variety of fish you can have that have different effects.

== Quest ==
To start the quest take the west exit from Prontera. Then go once more west using the northwestern exit. Go to southern part of the northern part of the map.

Fisherman will ask you for some item to start teaching you fishing:
*20 Thin trunks (Parasite)
*20 Sticky mucus (Many monsters including: Poporing, Hode, Orc Zombie, Zenorc)
*10 Fine-grained trunks (Willow)
*5 Tough vines (Dryad)
*1 Metal fragment (Apocalypse, Vesper, [[Mining]])

After giving the fisherman the items, he will teach you how to fish. Pay attention to the order as he will ask you to repeat the steps afterwards.

After completing the fishing quest you can start fishing. The normal fishing spot is just below the fishing man in the water. It's invisible so try hovering your mouse near the beach till you find it. Fishing requires bait which you can buy from the fisherman.

You can buy many packages for bait, but the most economical is 100 baits for 15000z.

Located inside Glast Heim sewers.

To get there you will need to go through Glast Heim church and take the lower Est exit. In the new map(Dark Lord is in this map) take the exit to the west. Once in the sewer map walk south (watch out for gargoyles) and the advanced fishing spot should be beside a small bridge.
In order to start fishing here you will need to be base level 60. You will not obtain guppies anymore at the advanced fishing spot.

Mining

Mining is done in the coal mines. You can get there by using the Kafra at Al de Baran(they call is Mjolnir Dead Pit).
