Purple Bat Doll has been nerfed from wearable by all classes, to wearable by Swordsman only. 

This has been mentioned for a long time that Purple Bat Doll will be nerfed. We have settled on rather making it work for every class somehow, we will settle with giving it only to the known classes that don't have much problems with it. 

Purple Bat Doll is serving as an instant full heal for classes with large AoE damage. Any classes with large AoE skills with a properly carded Purple Bat Doll weapon will instantly heal to full health. This makes it so any AoE class becomes extremely tanky to the point that you'll never die and effectively solo anything that cannot one-shot you. While some classes are meant to be tanky on the front lines, this caused other classes who are meant to be squishier or runs at riskier builds to have high damage and survivability at the same time. 

We are satisfied with how it's working out for Lord Knight and Paladin: Lord Knights can use it in Frenzy or Bowling Bash (and theoretically Brandish Spear too). Frenzy with Purple Bat Doll enables a cozy farming build where you can out-heal Frenzy's natural HP decrease. As it only makes farming a bit easier but not necessarily faster, we don't think this build is a problem as it only allows Lord Knights to farm content that's already easily doable by other classes whom can already do it at higher speed, but possibly need more attention or consumable items. The AoE damage builds for both Lord Knights and Paladins don't share the same problem as the other AoE classes because they have either fixed cast speed, or it's impractical to make it spam fast enough to full heal "constantly." There's sufficient window of opportunity where tough monsters can still deal meaningful damage. Their respective AoE is not as high as some other classes' AoE either. Finally, we are content with the Swordsman line to be the tanky front-liners. If they want to give up some damage potential for Hunter Fly Card to be tanky up front while doing some chip damage, that seems like a reasonable trade-off. Grand Cross for Paladin does do major damage, but it is elemental-locked so it has some limitations to keep it checked. 

On the other hand, the two most outrageous build is the very well known Assassin Cross, and the much less well known Gunslinger who uses Purple Bat Doll to be a Solo MVPing killing machine. With massive damage multipliers, good size AoE to delete any monsters near it, these two classes were able to solo almost anything as long as they are not one-shotted, and it does not cause any expensive items to do so cause the headgear/weapon will act as a Yggdrasil Berry 4 or even 5 times per second. We don't think these classes ought to be so good at survival for their class's intent. Assassin Cross is supposed to rely on flee and have cloak for safety, while Gunslinger is now given the Gun-Fu platinum skill so that they can still rely on flee while surrounded to setup Desperado. They already have their own style on how to stay safe. 

We want all classes to have their own unique playstyle and solution on how to stay safe and survive in the front line, so removing Purple Bat Doll from all but Swordsman classes seem suitable. Thief classes got flee with invisibility to dart in and out of melee (or rely on ranged builds when invisibility is not viable). Gunslinger (revolver) is given the custom Gun-Fu so they can still use flee in large crowds close range. Star Gladiator heals via Cronache Stella swap to sneak in a heal so they have a method to sustain, though more needs to be given to them in the future and GM team is aware of that. 

If you relied on Purple Bat Doll without Hunter Fly though for a bit of sustain, there are other options available already in heRO for small heals as you are farming. Why not consider the following?

There may be even better options once you dive to the class-specific setup. This is what we want: for players to seek out new builds and think of new strategies for their needs, exploring all the custom equipment, skills and mechanics available in heRO. Slapping on Purple Bat Doll-Hunter Fly card on every class and be effective in almost all cases is not something we want. 

Whitesmith, Taekwon and melee-Ninja have not been mentioned at all... they are the few cases where even purple bat doll cannot bring them to relevancy. They need much more help to varying degrees- but that's a very troubling and difficult topic for another time.

==Quality of Life Changes==

===Pet Autofeed===

Pet Autofeed is functional for all pets. You do not need to click or enable anything. When a pet's hunger rating drops to red (24 or lower), it will automatically consume the suitable pet food in your inventory. Please note that the pet food must be in your personal inventory, not a cart/the pet's storage (for storage type pets).

===Refiner Improvement===

The bulk refiner should have an option to refine any items lower than safe refine level to "safe level + 3" so there is less clicking involved if you want to make multiple attempts at a +7 armor, or other weapons. For equipment that's above safe refine, there is no change and you must enter the desired refine level.

===Malangdo Enchantment Improvement===

By popular demands regarding Malangdo Enchantment, you no longer have to disenchant to try an enchant again. However, this is removing a safeguard for people who are not reading and just spamming clicks to enchant. With this change, it is possible to write over an existing enchant, so be careful if you are enchanting at Malangdo!

These box item changes are done to free up older headgear so that the boxes' gear pool aren't so diluted, especially the older hats. When time is available to the GM team, we will work to move more headgear (especially those from the V4P Gear Boxes) to be readily available in the server in some form of capacity- be it quested, hunted from monsters, or obtained indirectly via gacha boxes where at least the gacha box itself is obtainable at any time of the year without GM events. There's a lot of headgear and other items to be made available. We ask all players for patience as we work through the list slowly.

Note: Surtur and Kushiel are both old Chronicle of Hero bosses that got their eventual permanent spawn, and thus, they are given the anniversary gears as a reference.

* Bright Fury's weapon range is properly set at 2 now
* Cronach Stella, Lyria Doll and Dorothy Doll properly triggers on attack again
* Costume Ayam item description has been fixed
