At Styla, as a celebration of the new client release, you can freely choose between different class costumes. New hairstyles and palettes are also available. Also, all existing palettes have been updated to have all 20 hair colors available as well. Note: The content of this changelog will come into play when the server is back up on June 25th after our extended upgrade outage.


New Client Release

A new client has been released for heRO, and with it come many changes. You must uninstall the old heRO and download the new client to connect to heRO. As usual, we will have the full installer, and then a BGM folder for those who care about BGM. We recommend that you continue to whitelist the new heRO directory on your Antivirus, as the heRO patcher may be identified as a virus (which is no different than the current heRO client.) This new client will not only bring lots of quality-of-life changes but also unlock a lot of further development potential for heRO. Please look forward to all the future customizations and new features that the new client will allow heRO staff team to develop and expand upon this game!

Reporting Bugs

With the massive number of changes and improvement in quality of life, we ask everyone to please report all issues in the heRO discord if anything behaves differently compared to the old client and is not mentioned in the changelog. heRO discord will open its community thread feature for easy reporting of issues without support tickets- so you can see if another player has already reported your problem. We remind all players that if there's anything that's not mentioned in the changelog and you decide to keep a change private to your mechanical benefits, that will be treated as bug abuse. It is to all players and the server's benefit to report any bugs and issues so they can be addressed swiftly.

Other Changes

Known Issues

  • Platinum skills can get removed upon trans and levelling up again. If this happens, contact a GM to fix it for you.
  • Costume brokk's Steelcap's item description is messed up
  • Ring of the Flame Lord and Ring of Resonance improperly list that it can be equipped by extended classes, even though it should be upper trans-only (trans 2-1 and trans 2-2)
  • Extended classes and Homunculus do not have heRO's custom updated in-game skills description that is accurate (regardless if the skills are customized or not)
