heRO 20th Anniversary Part 2

The heRO 20th Anniversary Quest has been released. The starting point of the quest is at the entrance of Thanatos Tower, starting with the Pandaring. Throughout this quest, you'll encounter a combination of new minigames of a poring search, a new heRO-unique style of heist, a new Mastermind challenge, a server-wide style raid boss and a climactic fight against Thanatos alongside an unusual help. We hope that all players will enjoy this quest as we try to include a little bit of everything for everyone. Completing this quest will result in a lot of rewards, including an unique card and 2 more 20th anniversary costumes!

Players are encouraged to go back and fight the server-wide style raid boss Pandaring even after finishing the quest. For going back to help other players in the fight, the Pandaring will give all players a MASSIVE amount of EXP along with individual rewards as follows:

• 100 Birthday Token
• Guaranteed 1 of the following: Heroic Shield Chest, Heroic Armor Chest, Heroic Footwear Chest
• 10% Heroic Shield Chest
• 10% Heroic Armor Chest
• 10% Heroic Footwear Chest
• 20% additional 100 Birthday Token
• 20% Panda Cap
• 5% Pandaring Hat
• 2% Costume Pandaring Backpack
• 2% Pandaring Backpack
• 0.1% Pandaring Card

We truly appreciate all players' support over the last 20 years for heRO server. It's unbelievable for this small server to withstand the test of time to be one of the oldest server ever. We are grateful for the small but close community that stuck with us throughout the server's long history. You have the GM team's heartfelt thank you and appreciation for being with us through our own journeys.

Zodiac Gate Quest Update

Opening the Zodiac Gate can now give you one of the following from the Zodiac Master:

• 20% of V4P Gear Box
• 20% of 6 Old Blue Box
• 20% of 3 Old Purple Box
• 20% of 2 Old Green Box
• 20% of 1 Old Card Album

Furthermore, there's no limit to the number of Zodiac Wings that can be created per character anymore.

Note: Entry to the timeless room via the Birthday Quest does not give you the reward for opening the Zodiac Gate, though you can still make the Zodiac Wings inside.

Upcoming Balance Change Reminder

The Purple Bat Doll now have a text to remind players that is mentioned in the GM Developer Blog. It will be changed... eventually within this year.

Quality of Life Fixes

• Quiver Shop, Ninja Ammo Shop and Magazine Dealer are added to Fortuna
• Ammo Dealer is added to Prontera and Sunken Ship
• Old Battleground Keys are now renamed to War Points to clarify what do they do (Battlegrounds no longer requires a Key to be opened for many years already)

Bugfix

• Fixed a rare case where Ferre's Playground causes server crash if Ferre's Playground instance is finished while different instances are ongoing

Known Issue/Bugs

• Ring of Friendship may still get exp via quests
• Gravitational Field does not lock the high wizard down accordingly
• Bard/Clown on a mount seems to randomly induce palette error for some reason, but the way to trigger the error is currently unknown
• Buwaya Cave's treasure box weakness may spawn multiple weakness points if multiple people from the party talks to the NPC inside the box at the same time
• Buwaya Cave randomly sends players to the box instead of sending them to the box only on re-entry of the instance
• Buwaya Cave also randomly allows players to enter normally on re-entry instead of always being sent to the box
• Faeheim Smuggler quest may not always trigger the smuggler spawn to continue the quest. If this happens, contact a GM.
• Mapflag for woe is not working correctly
• Elemental resist potion status icon seems inconsistent
• Male hairstyle #82 does not work
• New hairstyle does not work with all hair colors
• Auto-feed on pets does not work (does work on Homunculus)
