New MVPs

2 new low tier, beginner friendly MVPs have been added to the server: The Goblin King and the Wootan Defender. However, these tribal leaders are reclusive unless they see that their kins are under threat.

To get the Goblin King to appear, you have to slay at least 100 Goblins (of any variety) in Goblin Village or Goblin Hill (prt_fild11 or gef_fild11). Once enough Goblins are under threat, you will hear the Goblin's drums indicating that the King has spawned. It'll be in either one of the two fields. Guardsman at the entrance to these 2 maps can tell the player if the Goblin King is potentially active, has already spawned, or in its 2 hour cooldown period after its defeat, serving as an indirect tombstone.

Likewise, the Wootan Defender only spawns when at least 100 Wootan Fighter, Wootan Shooter, Dryad or Driller in the Trunk of Yggdrasil (Umbala Dungeon 1 or 2). Once enough of them are slain, the Wootan Defender will appear in one of the 2 floors of the Trunk of Yggdrasil to defend its kin. The Herb Picker at the entrance of the dungeon in Umbala will serve the same purpose to tell you if the MVP is up, spawned already or if it's in cooldown.

These MVPs should not be too difficult for geared solo trans players, or one player with 1 support character. The Goblin King relies on its Goblin Attendants to cast buff/debuff to strengthen the king in combat, while the Wootan Defender does the reverse to buff its Elite Wootan Shooter and protect them from damage.

For your efforts, there are new equipment available for Knights, Taekwons and Crusaders (and Rogue, by extension):

• Wootan Anklet
• Shield Charm
• Royal Trident
• Wootan Defender MVP Card
• Goblin King MVP Card

These new MVPs have been added to Bloody Branches.

Class Balance

Brandish Spear will take a different direction to make a niche out of Lord Knight's skill set. Bowling Bash is typically the 2-handed melee AoE option that's superior to Brandish for the longest time, with access to Parry to retain some defensive measures. Brandish has a small knockback, but it is not really distinguishable. To make it standout from Bowling Bash more, we'll be changing the item options for Bowling Bash to focus on 2 handed options, while Brandish will be the primary 1 handed option to have a balance of damage while having consistent defense via having a shield. This will make Lord Knight's 2h spear, 1h spear and 2h sword have a distinguished skill that is its intended use.

For this reason, the primary brandish spear card Payon Soldier Card has been rebalanced to no longer require 2h spear, but work with 1h spear. The damage has been lowered to compensate for no 2h restriction. It will go real well with the new Royal Trident from the Goblin King!

Quality of Life Improvements

• New palettes are available: 227 to 230, making it so there are 4 new palettes. Please try them out in the Stylist and see if the new palettes match your liking. Thank you to Cattre for creating palettes 227, 228, and 229 for us, and to Ange for creating palette 230. We really appreciate your hard work and artistic contribution to the server!

• Players now have access to @refresh. You can use it to pull an updated look for your and other players' visual states. For example, when you leave WoE castles, your hairstyle/palettes may not change back to your usual setup immediately. Use @refresh to update your visuals. If you think you have position lag and you are not actually where the server thinks you are, you can also use this command to update your location.

End of Valentine's Day Event

• VDay bullet hell event is over, and the same for the lovering spawns across towns. We hope that all players enjoyed this alternative gameplay mode!
• Freebies from Pandelina have been removed

Bugfixes

• Poring Smash now provides 1 single Magnifier at the start of the minigame
• Many equipment combos that utilize "autobonus" in the script, such as the Sage's custom Storm set, should be fixed
• More Christmas gift boxes from some longer quest chains have been removed

Known Issue/Bugs

Please note that Discord's report-issues channel is utilized for players to submit issues discovered in the game. Discord posts may be more updated due to daily submissions by players.

• Taekwon, Star Gladiator, and Combo Monks have issues with how to chain their combos due to attack delays
• Nab equipment set does not properly remove Preserve if the user has not learned Preserve as a Stalker
• DBSearcher does not show MVP Drops
• DBSearcher does not recognize some monsters that spawn in Scaraba's Nest or the fields to the east of it
• DBSearcher does not show drops that are repeated on the same monster (e.g. any biolab monsters that have their unique etc item dropped twice at different rate)
• Platinum skills may randomly be loss upon skill reset. If this happens, please contact a GM.
• Ring of Friendship may still get exp via quests
• Gravitational Field is temp banned in town and GvG due to potential to crash player client
• It is possible to have more than 30k items in the storage via Restock. However this is strongly not recommended as DB may start deleting item from that stack once it's over 30000.
• Buwaya Cave's treasure box weakness may spawn multiple weakness points if multiple people from the party talks to the NPC inside the box at the same time
• Buwaya Cave randomly sends players to the box instead of sending them to the box only on re-entry of the instance
• Buwaya Cave also randomly allows players to enter normally on re-entry instead of always being sent to the box
• Faeheim Smuggler quest may not always trigger the smuggler spawn to continue the quest. If this happens, contact a GM.
• Elemental resist potion status icon seems inconsistent
• Male hairstyle #82 does not work
• Crusader/Paladin does not work with palette 224
• New hairstyle does not work with all hair colors
