heRO Rate Increase
For the month of October, as our 20th anniversary celebration, heRO rates have been increased!
Base Exp: 5x => 10

heRO 20th Anniversary Part 1
As a part of the 20th Anniversary, all monsters have a chance to drop the 2025 Birthday Token, or an even rarer chance to drop a 2025 Birthday Token Bag, which contains 3-7 2025 Birthday Tokens. Tokens can be taken to the vending machine in .
The Vending Machine will give you a chance to win 6 of the new anniversary costume sets, based on past GM members through the years. Each try takes 100 tokens. The following are the possible items:
- 2024 Anniversary Costume Box
- GM-Ben's Mystery Box- a random box of goods, even stranger than an Old Purple Box!
- Heroic Costume Box
- Past Anniversary Gear Box
- Costume Circe's Punishment (GM-Circe)
- Costume Kaenec-OS (GM-Kaenec)
- Costume Rahice's Plushbag (GM-Rahice)
- Costume Vanadis Wings (GM-Vanadis)

There are other items related to past GMs, including members of the original 5 GMs who started the heRO server alongside GM-Pandora 20 years ago. These are permanent offers and will last beyond the birthday month.
- There's a Fanboy standing next to the anniversary vending machine. Rock on with the Fanboy to obtain 20 Explosive Boomy (GM-Boomy) for free! Use it and find out its amazing effect!
- Pereca's Pretzel (GM-Pereca) is being offered in a bake sale in Caerulia. It is a lighter weight Yggdrasil Berry in effect. Take your Yggdrasil berries along with 5000z as an offering to convert the berry to Pereca's Pretzel in order to support a bake sale with a good cause.
- Feith's Rosary (GM-Feith) can be crafted as a light-weight Yggdrasil Leaf consumable at the end of An_Offering_For_A_Friend An Offering For a Friend quest in Faeheim. Talk to Madailein outside Prisma Cave and it can be crafted with a Yggdrasil Leaf, a Strong Branch and 1000z each.
- Scott's Power Pack (GM-Scott) is a powerful item that increases your movement speed, casts endure and provoke at the same time! It can be obtained as an additional reward from Juperos Ruins History Quest where you will obtain the Power Pack along side its usual reward each time you turn in the quest.
- The Clearjade Potion (GM-Jade) can be brewed in the Alchemy guild in Faeheim to cure bleeding! Take 2 red herbs, 2 yellow herbs along side your zeny, and the Alchemy guild members can brew it for you.
There is also Garr's Dragon Soul for GM-Garr as a consumable item. It will be released in the 2nd wave of the anniversary celebration.
Extended Class Platinum Skill
New Platinum Skills are finally granted to the extended class. 2 skills are given to Ninja and Gunslinger. Taekwon gets 1, while Star Gladiator and Soul Linker each get one as well to follow the trends of other classes. Gravity neglected them in Platinum Skills so it's only fitting that they are finally given one to update their class kit to expand on the builds available. This also marks the first time that heRO has completely custom skills added to the class as well. We hope that the new skills keep the spirit of Pre-Renewal server while giving some much needed update to these classes, similar to the various buffs and changes that we have done for the classes.
heRO GMs reserve the right to change these skills for balance purposes in the future. Within October and November, if there's emergency balance changes for these skills, no refunds or decards will be offered by all impacted equipment. Please keep that in mind.
Gunslinger: Gun-Fu
With impeccable timing and acrobatic flair, use your pistols not just to shoot, but to parry attacks to assist with your dodging skill! For the duration of this skill, Gunslingers with revolvers ignore any flee penalty as a result of numerous enemies they are facing. Mob to your heart's content and finish them off with rounds of bullets from Desperado! This should give a much-needed defensive element for the melee revolver build while having an unique class identity that's different from other melee classes' methods to survive in close combat.
Learn Gun-Fu at once you are above Job level 50. Bring in a Tropical Sograt, Vermilion on the Beach, and Heaven and Hell to learn the skill.
Gunslinger: Winning Streak
When you cannot stop winning, you turn them to fortune and get a coin! Whenever you land a critical strike, you get a coin! This is a passive ability that works with all types of guns, though rifles is the easiest to utilize the ability. This should smooth out some gameplay and further emphasize that Gunslinger has a critical hit-oriented build available.
Learn Winning Streak at any airship's gambling table. Win at the Apple Gamble for 3 times in a row to learn the skill!
Ninja: Shukuchi
Master the shadows to your advantage in battle. Shukuchi is unique to have both a passive and an active component. As an active skill, Shukuchi allows the Ninja to hide like a Thief, protecting them from harm. As a passive ability, whenever the Ninja is hiding and about to use Shadow Jump while having any active Mirror Images from Illusionary Shadow available, the Ninja will consume 1 Mirror Image to cast Shadow Jump without breaking from hide. If the Ninja have multiple images, this can be used to quickly traverse across the battlefield easily.
Learn Shukuchi at by turning in a Shinobi Pet egg for the skill.
As a result of this platinum skill, the original effect of Shadowmail granting level 1 Hiding is obsolete. Shadowmail has its Hiding effect changed to give a 100% SP reduction to Shadow Leap.
Ninja: Kage Bunshin
When the ninja has its backs to the walls, their mirror images manifest into reality to join in unleashing Final Strike. For each mirror image from Illusionary Shadow available, Final Strike deals an additional 50% damage. All Mirror Images from Illusionary Shadow are consumed in the Final Strike. If you manage to keep all of your mirror images up, Final Strike can be used to deal devastating damage!

Taekwon: Fohn Wind
The Taekwon calls upon a protective gale that complements Warm Wind. This passive ability grants the Taekwon a 10% elemental resistance based on their attack element granted by Warm Wind. This resistance stack additively to equipment and cards.
Fire: Earth resistance
Earth: Wind resistance
Water: Fire resistance
Wind: Water resistance
Ghost: Ghost resistance
Shadow: Holy resistance
Holy: Shadow resistance
Learn Fohn Wind at . Master the elements by defeating 10 of each Plasmas in the area by utilizing the correct elements in your attacks.
Star Gladiator: Gift of the Sun, Moon and Stars
Gaze upon the heavens above to receive a precious gift. This active ability greatly increases the chance of activating the hidden ability "Miracle of the Sun, Moon and Stars".
Learn this skill at the Lutia Observatory. At , turn in a Cloak of Heaven and Heavenly Maiden Robe to complete the quest.
Soul Linker: Spirit Blade
The Soul Linker channels all of their spiritual powers into martial strength. Activate this ability to consume all SP. For the duration of this skill, the Soul Linker adds their MATK to their ATK. Soul Linker may not have any attack speed enhancements like other classes, but their physical attacks can be very powerful each hit!

Bugfix
- Yuki Onna card is in OCA/DCA again

- Fixed a bug where the Demon King Schematic is not given out when the Large Majestic Goat is crafted
