Oh! Thats even better. I loved the Alde map that Ayu used for a event yesterday.

Also we have to add WoE2 sometime soon.

RE: New castles for woe - Monomate - 02-13-2009

No, we don't. Woe2 with this population is an extremely bad idea.

Awww why

RE: New castles for woe - GM-Ayu - 02-13-2009

People asked me privately in the past about this matter so I might as well share with you all. Let's *assume* that we decided to chop out 1 castle, these are the complications that follow with the process:

-which castle to chop out?
-what to do with the guild that is losing the castle? what about eco in the castle?
-what if people use this as an additional new method to do "eco reset" bypassing the 1 year protection of the castle rotation rule?
-who has the authority/right to claim that a certain castle should be dropped?

Some of the questions may not be relevant now in today's circumstances since none of the castles have any sky high eco point, but best to make a general case for the future in case if we need to do it again for whatever the reason.

Many things to consider, if we're doing this at all, *which* for now as of time of posting, the GMs have no intention or discussions about closing down a castle (no guarantee about the future if we'll change our standpoint).

Just ask the 4 main guild owners what they want.

RE: New castles for woe - GM-Ayu - 02-14-2009

Then favoritism to the "established guilds" and ignoring the newer players, oppression against the majority to say only the castle owning guilds matter. (and, what if a guild just happen to successfully steal a castle last minute in one particular woe, and that suddenly "qualify" them to be a decision maker?)

My POV: It's way too hard in a lose-lose situation to take back a castle unless someone comes up with a good proposal on how to do it. What we can do, is we make darn sure of ourselves never to add a new castle for a *LONG* time.

RE: New castles for woe - Jasper - 02-14-2009

Make a poll?

RE: New castles for woe - Ellie - 02-14-2009

Wouldn't that just mean the bigger guilds/those with allies would win?

RE: New castles for woe - Kadar - 02-14-2009

Require castles which change to be at 0 eco? Guild which owns it gets to decide to give it up or not.

RE: New castles for woe - Avalon_Fates - 02-14-2009

Anyone to new to own a castle shouldn't care that its changed. Anyone old enough to care is usually in a strong enough guild to make a difference.

And who are we kidding here I doubt anyone wants to leave the castles the same so as Tripp said make a Official GM Poll.
