With the way my friend did it, Wallee, you can have both activated at the same time. You won't miss information on either. You can choose to have one disabled and the other one would still work. It works for the people who want the vending messages out of their random chatter. It works for the people who want the random chatter out of their vending messages. It works for people who want to see both. It works. :D

...what info goes on on main? It's all bickoring.

RE: @trade and @alliance channels - Quesadilla - 05-26-2009

When I joined here it was random chatter. Ever since then more and more drama-llamas have started to cause drama without due reason. I mean, when people start bickering over a B> message that seemed to me like a joke, it's really sad. I read names being called, and thought it was stupid that people were arguing over something so small. Maybe there should be a No-Drama policy. >.> It usually only makes people in the argument look stupider than intended.

Sorry. I went OT right there.

Exactly, and doesn't help if mods mod you guys bicker over that ;D
So in the end, we all lose!

So can we destroy @main yet? Icon_twisted

Yes, but first it must be decided with WOE who gets to kill it!
I bet LoA can come up with some interesting ideas.

RE: @trade and @alliance channels - Hat - 05-26-2009

I agree with this suggestion.

DOWN WITH @MAIN!

(+1 aaron)

@kohana your next character is an SN! Icon_wink

@OnTopic @main has its uses, though i don't see the need for it, most everyone that talks to each other on main has the other person on their friends' list. i will say making the @trade come to life would be ultimately better for in-game traders as not everyone goes to the forums.

now i'm not sure, but if Quesadilla's friend coded it so that you could only use B/S/T/A> then it'll eliminate most of the clutter that will be caused on that channel. sadly i doubt it's possible to eliminate everything that could happen like...S> Your Mom, 1z and crap like that, but meh, whatever lol. most of the time i don't have @main on anyway.

RE: @trade and @alliance channels - Quesadilla - 05-27-2009

As long as it doesn't get out of hand I don't think that would be that much of a problem, Frogboy. Maybe there can be a rule against it, but it already happens on @main.
And yeah, @main does have its uses. I've made a few friends, found a guild, and found a few parties with it. That would usually be hard on a server without the population of iRO. I made a few friends, found a guild, and found a few parties on iRO... but that's just because everywhere had a few people. There were a lot of people on at a time. heRO doesn't have that, and usually by not having @main newbies are alienated. They only talk to people in a guild they'll eventually find, which develops a bias.
-1 to removing @main. Icon_sad

I think there should severe moderation on the trade channel.
