RE: PvP Tournament - silvanel - 11-12-2006

why disabling damage number? what will that change?

RE: PvP Tournament - Former-GM-Auron - 11-12-2006

Well as far as I know the only way to not permit damage to be shown is either put GvG on or maybe use the inside of a castle but then it would still be GvG if I'm not wrong. Otherwise I'm missing some commands. Its possible to do by changing the HeRO file, in other words a new patch that would disable damage numbers but its more a loss of time then a great benefit. Maybe another GM could help more then I can on the subject.

Otherwise great initiative Alex Icon_wink

RE: PvP Tournament - GM-Pandora - 11-12-2006

The no damage thing would be in a castle, altough we plan to help, I don't plan to change maps for the tournament sorry Icon_razz It's fun to see damage anyway.

About prizes, I suggest:

1st prize:
From Alexander: 35 OBBs + 500,000 zeny + maybe something else...
From GMs: 5 allegiance points + 1 OCA

2nd prize:
From Alexander: 15 OBBs + 250,000 zeny
From GMs: 1 OPB + 5 Gift box

3rd prize:
From Alexander: 5 OBBs + 50,000 zeny
From GMs: 5 Gift Box

Participant:
From Alexander: 1 OBB
From GM: 1 Gift Box

Winning a match (not by default, by fighting only): 1 Gift Box + 10,000 zeny

Alexander, are those ok with ya?

Did you just call AE rich? XD I'll uh, take that as a compliment I guess. But you have no idea how wrong you are. Icon_razz

RE: PvP Tournament - Rei Ayanami - 11-13-2006

one way to handle ghostring users is simply using an element weapon or skill with an element. for example, a knight/sader/lk/paly could use magnum break to make their weapon do fire damage for a few sec, while sader/paly can simply use holy cross.

sins could still use poison attack, but i am not quite sure if ghost property take extra from this or not.

priest, well, they can do whatever priests usually do and archers and mage can still cast elements.

correct me if i am wrong, but doesnt ghostring card make the user more susceptible to elemental damage? while reducing neutral damage a huge load?

RE: PvP Tournament - Sir Aun - 11-13-2006

Ghost property reduces neutral damage by 75%, in other words if you do 100 damage on someone well if he's ghost property you do 25 damage. By the way magnum brake is great and all but you still do very little damage, but I don't know why it does that since fire does 100% damage on ghost property no matter the level and when I used magnum brake on whispers I get like a damage of 80ish or something like that I dont really remember the number on damage but it was under 100.

RE: PvP Tournament - Alexander - 11-13-2006

Actually, from my understanding, the element tables have been changed.
