RE: What kind of computer is everyone using? - Farvana - 12-30-2007 Gutted Mega 180 case: AMD 2600+ 1 gig Ram eVGA 6600 LE card (I believe 256Mb video memory) The case is a small form factor barebones kit; the original power supply was only 225w! The engineers had NO idea about airflow and cooling; the fan on the CPU blows directly onto the video card; there's maybe 9 square inches of space in the bloody thing. The video card needed more power, so I had to get a PSU that didn't fit in the case; the cover is off, and the power cables snake around the top and sides of the thing. The computer looks like it's being molested. I've got a spare case, but I'm going to upgrade the motherboard/CPU here in a couple months, so I'm waiting for that before moving the whole setup to something less ugly.
