anyhoo, what is it with people starting out and roughing it?
i started in HeRO from 0 and i never asked for any help at all. I was even bamboozled to sell my first spore card for 200k when hatters where 500k each... so i made a forum account and got as much info as i could...
learning the hard way makes the lessons stick more...

dude get ahold of your fathers paypal card and do like i did donate and once you recive your gifts get a hatter hat like popes miser and sell it to fish for 200k (i got screwed on that one) then take the money you earned legitimately and buy a firesword. then befriend a acolyte and use the firesword for killing siromas until lvl 75 or so then you need to repeat the process to get a earth sword for hillwinds. then grind grind and grind some more and make lots of cash. (i spent 3m on resets the first month).

i'd say, drop the expectations you get/had from being in a guild and just try to have fun. Being in a guild doesnt mean people should give you stuff or should help you lvl etc, ofc every guild is different and i don't know you and how you ask for help but i can say you pacience is the key to alot of things :3
Also its just like Aaronock said already, you have to gain people their trust. I don't think any guild will welcome their newbies with; "heey welcome in the guild! here is a +10 valk shield and 10 mil zeny ;D" (atleast i havn;t met a guild like that before x'D)
