No there is no nuclear disaster in Puerto Rico. Iodine tablet is one of the many water purification tablets available that is usable outside of nuclear accidents as well. Of course there are possibly other more suitable water purification tablets for PR's circumstance that I am unaware of as well~

I found Aquatabs on amazon.ca, which are tablets meant for purifying water when camping, traveling, etc. they should do the trick if the water situation does not improve there.
Still no direct news of Ciar, but the package has reached his postal office and a notice card was left at his house indicating where it can be picked up.

Hey heROes!
We just received word from GM-Ciar and wished to share it with you. He received the first package that GM-Pandora sent to him, successfully! We've also been told that he and his household are all safe (family, pets, etc.) That his home suffered minimal damage!
He also informed us that he does have drinkable water. He does not have reliable power or internet right now, but you may see him randomly pop up on the forums, posting from his tablet.
It's great news, such a relief to know that he is alright, and we all look forward to seeing him as soon as he's able to.
We want to thank you all again, for your kind and generous actions and notes! We will keep you posted as we hear more news.
