OK, i'm going to post an alternative build then, also, if you think i shouldn't use picky, what should i use? and what is a falcon set?

hmm, while they did post alternative cards like Pecopeco/evil druid. Personally, if you're in it for the ATK, I'd go Porcellio over Picky, if you want flee, maybe you could try for Alicel.

Falcon Set consists of :


Odins Blessing:

6 def, slotted, refinable, 250 weight, All classes but novice, req. level 65

Fricco's Shoes:
AGI + 2
Increase value of Red, Orange, Yellow and White Potion by 20%.
3 def, refinable, no slot, 50 weight, all jobs but novice, req. level 65

Falcon Muffler:
Flee Rate + 15, Perfect Dodge + 5
3 def,no slot, refinable, 40 weight, the rest same as the others.


when this completed combo is worn together, they give you a bonus of:

Maximum HP and SP + 5%
AGI + 3

While it's not THE best, it is Pretty nice, especially if you're tight on money (and too lazy to take advantage of hero's fish, which are more for PVM anyway)

Odin's is a bit heavy, though.
If you can afford it, Undershirt[1] + Panties[1] are good for flee.

pretty good, again i have several odin's blessings and valcon muffler, magni's cap, vali's manteau, and my comments for those sets are: i'm sorry, but i really prefer to have my headgears and footgears slotted...
in the end i use the odin's on its own and my GF uses zodiac wings with her vali's manteau (cheaper version of immune muffler, similar to how condor cards are the poor man's whisper...). My magni's cap is rotting and it's kinda harder to get the shoes (both vidar's and fricco's) at an affordable rate...

seeing as you are looking for durability, i would suggest getting 35 or even 40 total VIT in exchange for 18 INT. However it all depends on how much you use SB... and i think getting poison react (if you have the points) would not be a bad idea... 50% chance to block 1-6 hits, count me in...
and again, IMHO if you're going DD get AGI>>STR... get +10 MGs and card properly...

and yeah the slotted pantie and undershirt could be hax... but it's pricy...

lower your str raise dex kill the vit max agi. Get some Fortune swords and other flee gears and start mobbing.

no need for vit you should plan on not getting hit while mobbing (if you are GTing.)

For GT you will not need any INT cause it takes what, 3sp? Invest in the SP armor card and it will save you fish.

You also say you are PvE? Why the alice doll? You wont need 120~130 str outside of pvp and that's only if you go SB. I suggest Peco Band / Adventurer's Hat for the move speed.

Might as well list the gear I would use for leveling/pve

Peco band
SP Armor
Carded/Elemental Katar
Hero Backpack
Some YoYo Accessories
Whisper Garment
Fortune Swords(Switch to while you mob)


I don't like to rely on gear to hit stat bands unless it's a PvP build.
With that set up you'll be moving fast, have 50PD and near 280-290 flee in your high 90s (provided you max AGI.) Basically a mobbing machine :D. It's how I lvled to sinx.

Also as for utilizing past 177 apsd...just hot key it two times (using BM) and you should be able to make use of it.

well basically she is saying that she likes GT sins and that she leads the mobs by having 2 fortune swords equiped (hax p.flee), then she hides and GTs them to death...

it's a matter of preference IMHO...
and yeah i think if i ever make a sin i would make it high str (120 or more if possible), 1 base agi, 50ish dex, 70+ VIT and the rest to INT. Not for SP or SP regen (coifs are great) per se, but i think investing in INT for leftover points is still better than investing them in LUK... Use fish or strawberies or whatever... it gets the job done...

As for 70 VIT.. I"m not making a swordie, and my ASPD would be abysmal...

In reply to the part about nixing VIT and not getting hit though, i used to party with my gf, she was TU, but decent enough support. I used to get Stunned all the time, so thats why i chose to get a little vit.

The high str is for getting me though tough monsters. This build should do pretty well as DD, and if get a good dagger set, should allow me to keep up at high level areas... In case you didn't notice, i'm a bit obsessive about things being just right, so I'm hoping this build will let me be a well rounded Sin, instead of a specialist...

Either way though, I'm not committed towards any one build, and this server allows stats resets, so its all good.

Status recovery! If you have a Priest most of the time, FS or not, they SHOULD have SR..I hope xD. That takes care of stun /!.

But I understand your well rounded approach but sins are made to mob .

Sinx are better at single target killing that a normal sin so you might think of getting to sinx fast. Just some thought.
