I'm curious...(hopefully this question hasn't been answered >: ) Are the lower/mid headgears slotted?

Because it's nobility and the obvious answer is "To have it". Dyed in the wool diamonds like myself would want something regardless of it's benefits JUST TO have it. To collect.

That's an expensive just to have though at approximately 25mil.
Then if you rank its easy 100mil+ now.

I could get 2 slotted sunnies for the price of one ranked nobility gem...and that would be infinitely more useful.

It would be expensive but money or use are not always, in fact usually never my top two factors in what I pursue in a game.

Most wings, hatters, etc that I've gotten I don't even use much. But I still like looking at them in my storage.

People want slotted mid/lower headgears to use them or to sell them. Not just to "have it". What you're proposing is to inflate the server with an influx of equipment that were intended to be rare in the first place.

I'm also one of the few Kingdom Of Loathing vets on Hero. That's where I first heard the four MMO archetypes: Diamond, Club, Heart & Spade.

I'm a Diamond with a touch of Heart & Spade.

So what I was saying was basically "More slotted mid & lower gears?" "Sure why not" I know it won't happen. As for it being unfair to new players, there is always something that older players have that newer ones will have a hard time getting or in a few cases possibly can't get at all.??That rule is a constant across all MMOs.

End Game Balance/Balance Overall....I'l let you worry about that.

accually make two of that, i basically have the same.. also alot of gears in my storage just because i "wanted to have them"

Apparently due to my "achiever" part of my gaming self, I mostly collect headgears to say that "I did it." Which is kind of true, I then show them off if asked, and talk about how quick I did it, or who I farmed it with.

The gears from vote for points will NOT be slotted, they will be balanced for heRO just as it was voted, which means enhanced if useless and tamed if op.

voting rewards shouldn't be purchased with zeny :D (only when trading with other char) that would be better and too much of rare items in the server would make old players = new players (well that's kinda good to hear but imagine, a player playing for 4years has same equips[EVENT!! equips] as those who just played in a month, isn't that kinda unfair if too many items of those were produced) i want those peco ears :D
