A Calling!

Well, howdy! I'm the Wandering Wordsmith - and I'm calling all roleplayers with a proposal; and I'm also seeking the GM's permission for something...

Put simply, I'd like to make Geffen an unofficial (or official, which would be awesome!) hub for roleplayers.
It wouldn't require all that much work, but just publicising the fact that roleplayers could gather in Geffen to spend some time in character might greatly benefit the people who want to come. The place is barren, from what I've seen - occasionally there's a few players and maybe one stall, but it's nowhere near as populated as, say, Payon or Prontera. I understand that you guys have a roleplaying tavern, but it's quite small; makes sense, considering the low concentration of roleplayers on this server. But maybe upscaling a little could improve the connections some roleplayers have to the rest of the servers?

So what do you roleplayers think? GM's; would you be partial to making Geffen the roleplaying hub?

Problem with Geffen is that "Geffenia has been opened" message that pops up every thirty seconds whenever Geffenia is open. =/

though the geffen plan is pretty sound, the fact of geffenia opening constantly could get annoying. We also have Amatsu, which is wide open, or some of the other good outlying towns to raid. But its up to the GM's choice, and we shall abide by it

brasilis(or fairy land!). town of emptiness. imo that's your best choice

brasilis sounds good. There's nothing there to attract players. I think that'd be a really good temporary role play town.

Ah, but Geffen is easily accessible, compared to the others you've mentioned (with the exception of Alberta, at least.)
I haven't even heard of Brasilis, to be quite honest.

And is that message really so annoying?

take a day or even just one peak hour and sit in geffen and watch the amount of times that message goes off with either an event going off or people trying to talk. we could work around it, but it'd be difficult

Well, I guess. But it's only a line of text in between chat logs and a small pop-up. It's not supremely irritating; It's just... there.
