Reboot Changelog - November 16 2018
Quests/Features- The Platinum Skill Quest for Arrow Crafting now requires pointed scales instead of tough scalelike stem, as per official.
- Last Man Standing has been removed due to extensive lack of participation.
- The cost to register for Battleground fights has been changed from 15,000 zeny to 3,000 permanently. Before, the price was 3,000 for only the first 100 fights, and then 15,000 afterward.
- Added restock triggers to Faeheim Kafras.
- The day and night cycle change announcements have changed! They are no longer "Day Mode is Activated" and "Night Mode is Activated".
- Costume Crafters' incorrect rune requirement is fixed. For rank 3 and rank 4 costumes, they previously asked for Mystic Runes instead of Rare Runes and vice versa.
- The Turkey Quest now removes your hunting quest message when you complete it. If you've already finished it, simply talk to Bune in Carandel, you will stop receiving the yellow quest messages on logins.
Warpers- The Save Point Girl's name has been fixed again to be Hoshino Yuki.
- The Warper's Carandel warp should now be in its correct location rather than on the bottom of the menu. The warp-in area should be in the save area as well.
- Renamed "Fairyland" in the warper's menu to "Caerulia".
Faeheim- Increased reputation point rewards for the botany guild requests from 5 to 10 on easy difficulty, 10 to 15 on medium difficulty, and 15 to 20 on hard difficulty.
- Increased reputation point rewards for completing the fairy wings quest from 25 to 40.
- Reduced penalty for failing the mischievous kids' hide and seek game from -15 reputation points to -10.
- Increased reputation point rewarded for completing the iron fist bounty hunt quest from 5 to 10.
- Finally managed to fix the Red & Blue Fairy Wings Quest. Please report any issues you might encounter in this quest.
- Fixed issue where completing Botany Guild requests did not allow fairy brewing when completed.
- Fixed issue where completing Botany Guild requests for plant tentacles actually ask for yam.
- Loner Box Quest now asks you to hunt Dancing Dragons instead of Chung E.
- Lowered Sunny Bug Spawn in Faeheim Field 09 (Tessera Field) by 5.
- Lowered Vampyr and Brilight spawns in Faeheim Field 09 by 10.
- Lowered Vampyr, Brilight and Dreadring spawns in Faeheim Field 12 (Gray Mountains) by 5.
As you can see, there's a lot of updates after this maintenance, so naturally, some bugs could have slipped through the cracks. Exploiting bugs of any kind, especially without reporting them, is punishable. If you encounter any issues, please report them to GM-Ciar or GM-Ayu via Discord, or via the support ticket system.

Reboot Changelog, November 30th 2018:
- Fixed Faeheim Field 04's spawns: Sea Tiger and Galapago now spawns only in the bay area, while Amistrodon and Iron Fist spawn in the northern half of the map.
- Added a new map to use for the next chronicles event.
- Removed the Thanksgiving Quest.
- Big bug fix: Piamette (and its summons) should no longer use LoV, Critical Wounds, Wide Silence, Wide Curse, Frost Diver, Wide Silence, Meteor Storm, Thunderstorm, Darkness Breath, Coma, Heal for 9999 (will still Heal regularly around 2000 each near death) and Assumptio. Explanation: somehow the official renewal skill list got merged in with our custom skills ages ago and no one noticed.
- Bug Fix: Piamette should now use Dispel on random targets instead of self when allies HP are below 25% (By technicality, this can include random monsters nearby and not just slaves).

- After some discussion among the GM team regarding the tediousness of raising a homunculus, with the random homun created per embryo, feeding it as a second pet, leveling it as a second char, only to get random stats each level, we've decided to increase Homunculus' intimacy rate by 5x permanently. Their intimacy now goes up 5 times faster than in officials.

- Lutia Region Updates Part 1
General Updates
- The Lutia region maps have been revamped.
- NPCs and Warps have moved slightly to fit with the new maps.
- You can now obtain a pet from Santa Claus in Lutie at 1,000 Lutia Reputation Points.
- You can now obtain additional prizes from Santa at 2,000 Lutia reputation points, including a new costume headgear. If you've already obtained the maximum rep rewards from Santa before this update, just talk to him again.
- Lutia Kafras now offer town warps regardless of reputation points. Previously they required 250 rep points to offer warps.
- Crystal Shore now has a repairman and Ammo Dealer.
- The Lutia Costume Crafter has been updated.
- Snow in Lutia now works differently. Every few hours, there is a 50% chance for each individual outdoor Lutia map to receive snowfall. For now, this is only aesthetic, but sets the stage for future releases which might use this in quests, monster spawns or map access.
Quests
- Herb Gathering quest now requires less leaves. The maximum amount you can be asked for is 40 instead of 50.
- Leaves' respawn time is now 5 minutes instead of 10.
- You can now obtain 3~6 leaves instead of 1~3.
- Collecting herbs now yields white herbs, depending on your reputation points: Reputation/600 (rounded down), with a minimum of 1 herb per collection (not per leaf obtained).
- Experience gained from the herb collection quest was increased.
- A few more herbs were scattered around through the Lutia Region.
- Pingvi Doll Quest now rewards 200,000 experience for completing it and requires less fabric, sea otter fur and dyestuffs.
Monsters
- Santa Snowrings will now spawn only during the day in their original maps.
- Filir Night Spawns now work the same as Faeheim's day/night spawn monsters.
- Filir no longer spawn in Lutia Field 08. Instead, 10 Kalpea Henki and 10 Snow Moths spawn at night in addition to their normal spawns.
- 6 Adult and 6 Chick Filir now spawn in Lutia Field 09 at night, plus 1 of each that spawn at any time, to prevent the filir taming quest from being locked to night only.
- 15 Filir Chicks spawn in Lutia Field 11 at night.
- 15 Adult Filir spawn in Lutia Field 12 at night.
- Pingvi now drops Fricco's Shoes at 0.24%, and Jack be Dandy at 0.45%.
- Amaroq no longer drops Fisher's Boots. Instead, Icering drops them at 0.30%.
Lutia's Pingvi Haven
- The island can now be accessed via warpers.
- Penguin population now decreases at a slower rate, and increases at a faster rate.
- Pingvi can no longer spawn in Lutia Field 11, they now only spawn in Pingvi Haven.
- The island now has a minimum Pingvi spawn of 10, and a maximum possible spawn of 70.
- Angvi now spawn in Pingvi Island. While they are known to pick on pingvi, but are actually quite unforgiving to people that harm them! They have a base spawn of 5, and a maximum spawn of 15.
Other Updates
General Updates
- Quest dialogues mentioning Pixie as queen have been changed to say princess instead. Those already mentioning Lucretia as queen remain as is.
- Faeheim's Berry Picking quest now rewards 20 reputation points instead of 5~10 based on the amount of berries required.
- The Faeheim Costume Crafter has been updated with 112 new costumes available for crafting.

- Wind Whispers headgear now correctly requires 99 Int instead of dex
- Biner/Weihna dagger now has its correct effect. It previously and presumably, for ages, somehow had only a 5% chance to inflict poison.
- The less than stellar Sales Banner headgear's equip level was reduced from 75 to 20.
- Attempted to fix Angvi's attack animation speed to prevent Dark Lord Syndrome (wherein the attack ends and you don't flinch/get hit until way later).

General Changes
- Lutia Fishing Shoals have been moved to better fit with the retouched maps.
- The total amount of Fishing Shoals has been reduced.
- NPCs like the Annika, the travelling wizard, and Nyyrikki now show cutins.
- Moved the restock trigger in Crystal Shore to the correct location.
Quests
- The Ice Queen Quest now requires 300 reputation points to start, instead of 500.
Monsters
- 5 Yuki Onna now spawn in the Ice Queen's Castle Exterior every 5~10 minutes. Defeating these has no effect on the Yuki Onna Quest.
- 15 Icering and 15 Pale Vulpine now spawn in the Ice Queen's Castle Exterior every 1~2 minutes.
- Yuki Onna's storm gust and heaven's drive is no longer interruptable.
- Yuki Onna no longer drops Frozen Robe. Instead it drops items such as Fisher's Muffler, Ice Ear Wing, and Ice Scale.
- Mastersnowring, Snow Angeling and Grayphon no longer generate tombstones upon defeat.
- Sunny Bug's level has been decreased from 55 to 49, and its agi and dex have been increased by 6 to keep its stats equal.
- Sunny Bug now uses NPC emotion at a very low rate, to stop chase and prevent overmobbing the entire map.
Other Updates
General Changes
- Dreamstone Golem no longer generates tombstones upon defeat.
- Wounded Morroc now generates tombstones upon defeat.
- Niddhoggur's Shadow now generates tombstones upon defeat.
- Giant Octopus will not spawn more than 10 Octopus Legs. Previously it could spawn up to 50 Octopus Legs over time.
- To prevent @whodrops clutter, the quest version of Bloody Knight no longer drops items.
- Faeheim Enchanter now shows the correct visual effects for succeeding or failing.

The following includes fixes to errors that seemed to have occurred between 2012 and 2014, where New World (and Fairy's Paradise) official and custom mob skills were accidentally merged, causing unintended monster behavior and a notable difficulty spike. This is an addendum to the New World Updates from mid 2018.
- Overall
- Removed and cleaned up duplicated skills
- Removed possible reactions to being webbed or ankle snared (except on Tendrilrion)
Garden Watcher
- Removed Dark Breath, Dark Cross, Safety Wall, Heal, and Curse Attack
- Changed Jupitel Thunder to be uninterruptable as compensation
- Changed Lightning Crash to be instant cast from 0.5s as compensation
Centipede
- Combo attack is lowered from 3 to 1, and is no longer used as frequently
- Venom dust is now targeted instead of randomly placed around itself
- Removed poison status attack (duplicated in purpose by venom dust)
- Quagmire is now lv 1 instead of lv 5 (lv 1 does the job to dispel speed buffs already)
Centipede Larva
- Venom dust is targeted at the main target, instead of random area
- No longer uses Poison status attack (duplicated with venom dust in practice)
- Poison attribute attack is no longer as frequent
Nepenthes
- No longer uses Stop
- Earth Property Attack's frequency has been reduced
- Only uses energy drain when Nepenthes is attacking, not when player is in sight range
- Stun success rate lowered from 70% to 50% (The idea is you still have to fight it at range)
Tatacho (Normal Mob)
- No longer uses Ganbantein
- No longer tries to stun the target again after hammer fall
Hardrock Mammoth
- Removed skill behavior that no longer functions in Hercules (Our current emulator)
- Changed earthquake to be 40% chance every 20 seconds at half health or lower, instead of staggered chances based on hp (due to the above)
- Changed heaven's drive to be 20% at all hp instead of staggered chances based on hp (due to the above emulator situation)
- Changed endure level from 20 to 1 to lower mdef gains
- Changed wide stun from being spammed randomly every 18 seconds to being used only when targeted once every 18 seconds
- Dragon fear changed to be 20 second cooldown
Tatacho (Hardrock Mammoth Follower)
- No longer uses ganbantein
- No longer teleports away from MVP (to then be pulled back immediately)
- No longer gives up chasing with the MVP
Pinguicula
- No longer uses stop
- Stun and sleep base success rate is lowered
- Will always chase the target (AKA, it is now vulnerable to mobbing)
- Lv 3 earth attribute attack is changed to lv 2 holy attribute attack to fit her element in heRO
Luciola Vespa
- No longer counters assassin specifically to grimtooth with a counter-grimtooth
- No longer uses lv 3 combo attack (but will still use lv 1 combo attack)
- No longer uses lv 5 piercing attack (but will still use lv 3 piercing attack)
- No longer uses lv 2 poison attribute attack (but will still use lv 3 poison attribute attack)
- No longer uses pulse strike
Cornus
- No longer uses provoke, critical wounds, shield reflect.
- No longer targets cloaking assassins specifically with ruwach
- No longer has a 10% chance to cast pulse strike lv 3 (but will retain the 20% to cast pulse strike lv 2)
- Will critical hit less often
- Will use combo attack less often
Naga
- Lv 5 brandish spear rate is halved
- No longer uses Lv 9 spear boomerang (will still use lv 3 spear boomerangs)
- No longer provokes again on lower HP
- No longer uses Lv 10 pierce (will still use Lv 5 pierce)
- No longer uses a 2nd Lv 9 waterball regardless of health (will still use Lv 4 waterball on low HP)
Hillsrion
- No longer uses multi-attack as frequently
- No longer provokes again at low HP
- No longer gains as much mdef from endure
- Critical wound is down from lv 3 to lv 2 (to match official's)
- Will only use Increase Agility to buff when it is not attacking
- Increase Agility level lowered from 20 to 10
Tendrilrion
- No longer uses spiderweb
- Thunderstorm no longer has a cast time (Previous behavior was a remnant back from when Tendrilrion chains thunderstorm instead)
- Thunderstorm is now lv 20 at the target instead of the original behavior, which was intended for 8 castings of lv 10 randomly around it
Hillsrion (Tendrilrion Follower)
- Now uses wind attribute attack Lv 3 instead of neutral only to stress wind armor usage
- Lowered combo attack rate as compensation for the above
- Mdef bonus from endure is lowered
