also take into the fact that you can set the prize money and the cost of ticket. Simply set it to where the prize is a good enough equivalent of what you believe would get in purchasing tickets. Also you have to take into account that there is only two possible ways of winning:

Matching 4 numbers

or

Matching 6 numbers

The numbers picked are randomly generated so it could be possible that you see 5 million+ zeny disappear before anybody ends up winning back anything. Then again you could have a streak where lots of people at least win something, it's the whole point of gambling.

Also, the black jack dealer is also a default custom npc.

We have TOO many things to obtain OCAs, OPBs, OBBs, GBs, and so on.

The Faerie Wing thing is a great idea, play off of that more.

I feel the more we add to the server, the harder it will be for newcomers to adapt.

Let's take Bloody for an example:

He's LOADED.

Anything zeny based he is most likely going to dominate (if he chooses).
He spends a LOT of time playing (and thats okay, I wish I could too).

So if we have a lottery, he's going to (hypothetically, I dont know what bloody would actually do) put a certain % of his zeny into the lottery to win items.

Then lets take me:

My net worth is still a little low for what I need, but its managable. In the tens of millions, not 100's.

Lottery, I'll put some cash into it, but not too much. I'd get some items, but not too many. Certainly not as many as Bloody could.

Newcomer:

Low zeny (under 1m)

Lottery, they wouldn't be able to participate as much as I could, as it would be a financial sacrifice to do so. Which is obvious.

I know some people are thinking by now "Well its your choice blah blah"

But we are on the verge of having TOO many choices.

--Most of these things are custom to our server, but, unless you have the time to do all of them, you're behind as far as some aspects are concerned.

It's no mystery that OCA'ing at Adv. Fishing spot is the easiest way to obtain good cards.
It's no mystery that Celeb Wings make a surplus of Gift Boxes devaluing the Santa Poring Card and Emperium.

I think we need to worry about (as a server) being up to date (with homun, Thor and so on) rather than more customs. It might get to be quite an overload for new players, and maybe even our casual players.

Thank God most of our customs aren't overpowered, and will most likely never be abused in WoE or PvP, unlike most private RO servers.
