last year in March I underwent a routine surgery that went horribly wrong. The song is about the time I spent in the hospital, how I felt. I didn't want anything. I felt so miserable and I didn't care. The angel is my girlfriend, who was in my room and helping me more than the nurses. She was there from when I told her I was in the ER, and she was the one who took me home when I was released. She stayed by my side even when I was being a jerk to her. She forced me to get up and walk (which I was told to do) and helped me get up and down when I needed too.

This song is about how wonderful she is to me.
