You don't look at it as 1/0 you look at is as 1/x when x gets close to 0....
Now, when x gets close to 0, 1/x gets pretty large without bounds, Thus infinity.
But wait, x also gets close to zero on the negative side. So 1/x becomes a??large negative number without bounds too, Thus negative infinity. So, whats 1/0 ?
plus-or-minus infinity
I know my basic Calculus don't tell me I don't.
Now get back to the subject at hand, The speed of darkness. Which is utterly impossible to measure because it doesn't move.
