On the show the first few questions are dumb, then it gets really hard, questions of increasing difficulty, makes sense. If you make the last 2 questions insane you shouldn't have to fork over 250k too often.

Question 1: 500 zeny
Question 2: 1,000 zeny
Question 3: 2,000 zeny
Question 4: 5,000 zeny -> safe spot
Question 5: 10,000 zeny
Question 6: 50,000 zeny
Question 7: 100,000 zeny -> safe spot
Question 8: 250,000 zeny
Question 9: 500,000 zeny
Question 10: 1,000,000 zeny

Lots of preparation required (questions), but could be fun event once in a while.

me likey good point i forgot all about the safespots. if you miss a question you end up back at the previous safespot right? at that point do you get to keep going or forced to stop there? cant remember how the show works so well...

we're ending up with a bunch of different question formats with really varying time limits for each one. in the end time limit is the only way to beat the alt tabbing problem.

In the show, I know you can walk out with more than the safe spot amount, meaning you can step down at like 250k or 500k if you feel you've earned enough and don't wanna risk it. I think (but not 100% sure), that you can step down after having heard the question, if you don't know the answer, or perhaps it was in-between questions. I'm sure someone remembers?
