RE: Non-Tran WoE...
I think, *think* what alot of people mean by gear gap is many of the items that are considered top tier for trans woe such as armors and accessories can only be worn by trans characters.??While cards are still vital, in fact, even more than in Trans WoE in some cases, much of the gear bonuses will be evened out. Having a slotted muffler in retro won't be as big of a gap compared to wools/valk manteau in trans woe.
This isn't to say gear isn't important, but with all of the focus on trans woe equipment before, maybe it'll be evened out a bit, and those who really hunt gear for the retro WoE will start to shine.
Another quick thing, I completely agree with the class balance change in retro woe.??Some classes, such as alchemists and assassins, are not as powerful as they are in trans woe.??Just the same as knights are very powerful in retro, but not as much in trans.??I really like this difference since it invites players to try out classes they might ignore before.

RE: Non-Tran WoE...
Lk is great in woe.
Whoever complains about non-trans woe obviously has no idea what they were getting themselves into.
