RE: Should the whining section be removed?
Seriously, if I were playing on hero I would quit because of that green-colored-text-on-gray-background :'/ You are making my eyes bleed whispers QQ
I wanted to get the first godwin's point but I guess neo deserves it :l
Instead of making a comparison between Saiichi and Hitler I guess I'll just give this link of WHAT THE WORLD WOULD BE WITHOUT THE WHINING SECTION -trailer-
IGN: 9000KRIM Alts: Morradin, KRIMSTEAL
Banned: Krimlin, Krimlogas, Lord_Krimlogas, General_Argos
Krim's grocery list

RE:??Should the whining section be removed?
Hoshi Wrote:No whining section = no drama!
No whining section merely means lack of a proper place to funnel the drama into. Although Panda specifically asks people to not start flame wars (and, honestly, people, the flame wars here are but mere tiffs - especially when compared to other servers we've all been on) if we hadn't a whining section then the flame wars would erupt wherever the OP decides. In guild threads, the general section, help/guide, suggestions etc. etc. etc.. Aside, without a whining section where would I be able to post what I'm about to post? =(

Stop portraying me like the bad person in this, Just because i have different viewpoints of opinion doesn't mean I am killing the server by putting i my input in this.
Now dont you think the server is already under a dictatorship already?
I mean, If Pandora (Aka Huntress) says to you : "Hey don't say that!,Dont Do that!,Stop That!"
You pretty much have no choice but to do as she says or its a ban no?
See where I am getting at?
Police forces, ever heard of 'em? They're what enforces the laws - laws that EVERYONE must abide by. If you break them, you get penalized. In this case, it's the GMs enforcing rules on our server. Learn the difference, ty.
All I can do is smile and nod.You decide what it means.
Never forget the old days.

Sometimes whining threads DO help the server. *has solved situations with them* and it's fun to refer n00bs on main to the whining thread when they complain how slow it is to level after xx level.
Awwwww, you beat me to the thread. I was going to reference you in my statement :<

While the whining section can be drama filled and bothersome to some, it can be potentially beneficial, as we've seen before. The gms tend to watch the whining section, particularly to close any threads that 'get out of hand'. That being said, replies and involvement with server issues, and dilemmas are more likely to be noticed.
Besides, as Zack posted, it keeps most of the negative threads to the whining section, rather than General, or something.
If you do not want to read, do not enter the whining section
If you do , then you must at your own discretion, and understand if you get angry or upset at what you read, its of your own decision, and must deal with it.
