RE: Recent jump in ban activity...
It's also summer holidays in NA, which has always lead to an influx of players.
It also means kids home from school can more likely leave their computers on all day, running bots, as opposed to having to turn them off to go to school.
Or so my theory goes.

New CP definitely makes it easier for us.
Gone! Thanks for the memories.

RE: Recent jump in ban activity...
Guess people don't like to enjoy the process of leveling anymore, ok maybe grinding is not totally enjoyable. As i think, almost all newbies comes from high rates, they'd want to get 99 trans in a snap, and that's sad.
I think I'm finally going "home", renewal is fun, but there is really nothing like "heRO"...

Mort Wrote:Well I said at the start that most of players that heRO will attract in this way will be trash, when the voting campaign began.
Seems I was right.
A bunch of the bans were not accounts that new.
Another bunch have other, older accounts on the same IP, even if the one caught botting is new (which a lot of botters do. Make a new account only for the bot in hopes that if they get caught, it'll only be that account banned)
To blame it solely on V4P is hidiously misinformed.
Forge forges banhammers.
Edit: A bunch of the caught bots are also one IP with multibots caught at once.
One botter. Many clients.
Gone! Thanks for the memories.
