no no there are two type of "i will come for fun",
the one that farms resources weekly, go all through the troubles to brew blues/whites/EDPs/ADs and fully prepared to spam 2k pots and have fun.

then, the one that doesnt give a f***, thought they will lose anyway and brings potatoes they get from camels to WoE.

RE: Question to Non-WoE Players
some people will WoE with their guilds to annoy the "serious" WoE players. They aren't looking for gaining a castle, they just wanna provoke the serious WoE'ers. For some, the lack of seriousity is THE fun in WoE.

Edit for spelling >_>

RE: Question to Non-WoE Players
WoE is only any fun for me when I'm playing a Scholar, Mastersmith, or Champ. If I'm not either

A: Annoying someone and disabling them
or
B: Killing them with little effort on my part

Then WoE is just no fun.

What would have to happen for me to get into WoE:
Dual clienting was enabled (Will never happen probably) and I would be able to level a battle sage to FS Prof.
Dual clienting was enabled and I could warp a blacksmith to and from hill winds to level to Mastersmith
Orrr, someone buys me a bunch of gear to level my combo monk to 99.

All of these will probably never happen, and I'm probably just expecting too much, but that's how I have fun in WoE. Simply put, I just can't enjoy WoE very well on low rates because of the difficulty of getting a class I like to a high level and geared.

RE: Question to Non-WoE Players
I actually made a guide for NE on how to fight in WoE basics.
You think most of my guild potted...lol no even after having some of us yelling at them.

You know it wouldn't matter you can lead a horse to water but I'll be damned if you can get him to drink sometimes.

Some people are more than content to not put effort.
I could join the big two guilds, probably not even pot much but would anyone notice potentially...doubtful. :3

You mean like how Bodom's new guild annoys me to attack... >_>

Uhm, just because you'd have a FS Prof, Mastersmith or Champion, that still doesn't mean you are entirely suited for WoE. You would still lack the equips in comparison and to keep up with the other 99 Profs, Smiths and Champs.

And you don't need to be either of those classes to annoy/disable people.

Hell, I use a Sniper/HP and a Baby Rogue, I still annoy/disable people lots.

Of course if I had those classes they -would- be geared and I wouldn't worry about "keeping up" because I know exactly what I'd need to play them. Simply put I like playing in WoE with characters that are fully developed and don't have much fun with underdeveloped characters that take ages to finish.

RE: Question to Non-WoE Players
Kinda like that yeah Joy :3
We did that in Aes a few times as well, though i'm not a pvp type of player.
I think i'd prever slow gracing everyone in WoE to annoy them rather attack people. If my guild is ever gonna WoE i think i'd leave the strategy for Alex or Ruchi to think of and i'll just lead the gang~

And Lol Ganz nice way of quoting Joy xD

RE: Question to Non-WoE Players
1. timezone restrictions. 8/9 AM on a workday and 2 or 4 AM on a monday morning... If the timing was more comfortable (like a saturday morning server time like Aaron said -> means it's a saturday night for me) i would probably have a bit of fun every now and then.

2. equity.
Sure the guild leader often share resources and guild drops, but in the end unless you're the top tier ranks in the guild you probably won't be seeing godly items in your inventory. Furthermore, RL restrictions (read: work) may impede your ascent into these "top ranks", creating a vicious cycle.
furthermore, there's class-choice equity; of course for a functioning society we need job specializations, but as in RL this process may not always produce the best fit...

so if any Guild Leader ever do overcome this 2nd issue, i would probably love to join that guild given the 1st problem above is resolved.
