So my Champ asuras Cornus on this map since they have one of their better spawns and Nidd Warp makes it convenient.
Well, Dark Pinguicula also spawn here. When they die they have a chance of spawning two Nephs. Guess what happens when Dark Pinguicula die en mass?
You get Nephs en mass. Upwards of 200 and they don't spawn here naturally at all. I wish I had screens of it so you could appreciate the horror.
It really screws up the map to have THAT MANY OF THEM on the map and screws me (and likely others) out of their leveling spot.
So what a I getting at? 200 of a monster that doesn't spawn by itself on a map is ridiculous. Can we put a cap on the number of Nephs allowed on the map at once? Or make Dark Pinguicula not spawn them? Please? D:
i thought the GMs said somewhere that maps were supposed to reset when a person was gone from them for an extended amount of time. wouldn't that fix the nephs everywhere?
I think this is pretty unintentional, see this was fine before when maps resetted spawns but without that people can grief others by killing a ton of dark pingui on the map with a TU priest wearing bathory...
What makes me so angry about this is that Gravity screwed asura Monks/Champions out of Thor 1 long ago.
Add to the fact heRO only rubbed salt in that wound with their wonky way of handling updates. Now that we have a convenient and good exp spot again (as of gaining Nidd warp) it gets wrecked by a heRO customization going horribly wrong ._.;
