As LK, i always hate turtle in item trial. I could oneshot everything with BB except the damn turtle. It need a few hits before you could actually hit him, and yeah, it's a waste of time and MP. So i usually start killing turtle if i got a spare time in item trial with zerk mode..

And for strategy in item trial..
Aim for half of every item of the list, and then focus on the item that you think you could finish..

Anything below 50% of the required amount is worthless
why?
because 2 or 4 point is as good as 0,

and 51-99% of the required amount is as good as 50%, 5pts.
so yeah.. aim for half of the list. shouldn't be that hard

I kinda want this post to be pinned LOL .. So many strategies from almost every class being post here. I do think that it is pretty good for new people as well.. At least learn before dying in the TOH because .. sometimes GM is just not going easy on everyone !

Also, is it still possible to ask for skills to copy from the GM's if you lose yours during the monster trial?

From what I recalled, if you lose the skill, you lose it forever until you get a new one. So just have to make sure you wont lose it...

They use to give back lost skills in Monster Trial.
Haven't ToH'd in like forevers though.
