Greetings, heRO! Christmas Quest is not out yet, but a part of Christmas quest will involve a Costume shop update using Prize Medals. HeRO Christmas 2025 and major War of Emperium fix patch is live. You can start the Christmas quest at Santa's house in Lutie. There are a lot of other content and bugfixes included in this patch. Greetings heroes!

There will be a WoE Castle Rotation and server maintenance tentatively scheduled for Friday January 9, 2026. Castle owners are encouraged to collect their loot for that day before the maintenance takes place. More concrete information will be posted later on as this requires scheduling between GMs. Why is this change happening? Rotations stopped about 2 years ago due to inactivity in the WoE Scene. We wanted to start the new year with a fresh battlefield and consistent rotation schedule, given the recent increased interest in GVG.

We have switched our Support Ticketing system to be on discord. You can create a ticket at https://discord.com/channels/45392643855...7356087347 or you can see it in our discord channel's side bar for #support-tickets. You do not need to create a new ticket in the new system for any issues or request for support that you have submitted in the old system. After today, the old system will no longer be utilized, so be sure to use the new ticketing system on our discord going forward.

We are collecting feedback regarding a potential War of Emperium time change due to recent increased interest in WoE scene. Please visit the #woe-feedback channel and look at the sticky poll in our discord. The poll ends in 3 days, so please let us know of your thoughts via the poll + the channel.

An emergency patch has been released to address the issue of the patcher failing to open. However, to get the fix, we need players to try to patch and we recognize that the patcher does not always work. If you have issues patching, either try again later, and/or open a support ticket.

EDIT: The temp patch workaround is very small and will be done very quickly. If you are not sure if it patched, open "heRO Patcher.dat" with notepad. There should be very little content except for a number. Verify that the number is 127. If it's 127, then you got the patch already.

Valentine's 2026 Bullet Hell has been released!

Visit Ozu in Prontera and bring him I Love You Firecrackers for a chance to celebrate with him! Show off your best moves as you do your best to dodge his fireworks, and aim to be one of the top 3 players in the server! The longer you last, the more points you get!

This years Valentine's Day item is the Costume Love Whisper, which you can obtain from getting enough points from bullet hell.

But what do the top 3 players get? One of the rarest costumes in the game, the Costume Yin Yang Orb. Only the top 3 players will get this item, so do your best! The event ends on March 2nd 11AM Server Time, and the Top 3 will be locked in at that point. Rewards will be given out after.

We also are putting out a video bounty! The first 3 players to create a Support Ticket with a video of them playing the event and scoring a minimum score of 850 will receive 3 Old Red Boxes and 3 Old Card Albums. Your video will also be used to show off the Bullet Hell feature we use in heRO!

We're proud to announce the release of War of Emperium: Second Edition! It will continue at the same time that WoE:FE took, 10 AM Server Time on Saturdays! The heRO GM team would like to extend a huge thank you to all players who helped test, and we hope you all enjoy WoE:SE! (Note that the Barricade/Guardian changes are still coming in a future update).

Please remember that WoE:SE will start with the GM guild holding the castle, and teams will battle over who can capture it first. Economy and Defense have been fully reset to 0. Don't forget your repair kits!

This patch also includes the new WoE:SE Chests, Heroic Gear Boxes, and reworked OBB/OPBs. You can read up about those in the recent GM Dev Blog! (http://www.pandoraonline.net/heRO_wiki/i...loper_Blog)

We've also added some quick bug fixes with items and a couple quests. For more information, view the changelog on the Wiki when GM-Ayu writes it up!

Scheduled Maintenance: April 4th to April 5th

On Saturday, April 04, 2026 noon server time, the server will be going offline for extended maintenance as we work on resolving ongoing backend issues affecting heRO services. The outage is expected to be 36 hours long, ending by night of April 5th.

What is happening?

We’ll be migrating all of our web services (Control Panel, Wiki, forums, and more) from a secondary host onto the main game server. As mentioned in our previous devblog post, our aging infrastructure is making it difficult to update key systems and resolve issues. We are seeing issues with account creation recently, which is related to the same problem. Our changes in this extended maintenance should improve stability, performance, and response times, and empower the GM team to make further improvements in the future.

Downtime Estimate

It'll start at Saturday, April 04, 2026 10:00 AM We expect maintenance to take up to 36 hours, but it may take longer or less depending on progress. We’ll keep all players updated on Discord along the way.

Gameplay Impact

The guild holding the castle on April 4 will miss 1 spawn of treasure chests due to the outage.

Players will be unable to login during the entire maintenance
The Easter Event will begin once maintenance is complete.

Out-of-Game Impact

• heRO related sites and services may be down during this maintenance window
  
• Wiki will upgrade to a newer system and database
  
• Due to outdated and inaccurate information, most pages will not be migrated. Instead, we’ll be rebuilding the Wiki from the ground up while keeping critical pages from the old wiki.
  
• The heRO DB (originally hosted by Adventurine and developed by Ange) will now be officially hosted on our main server.
  
• All services will be moving to new URLs. We’ll share updated links and refresh the homepage once everything is live.
  

Outage Compensation

Once the server is back online, free rewards will be given out as our apology for this extended outage.

Discord games will be available across April 4 and April 5th across different timezone for rewards that can be claimed in game after the maintenance. Details and exact time of these games will be posted next week.
