i don't see anything great about vista actually, it is more fiddly than xp with practically 80% less program compatibility. god i cant even install the softwares i needed to do my job with vista and had to downgrade to windows xp.

i am not bitching about windows btw, xp is good. but vista is just pretty and thats all. its flashy to look at and an awesome thing to use to impress people who is still on windows xp, but usability wise it is horrible.

Good and Bad News. Bad news is I can't play heRO on my laptop because I just screwed it up with the kRO installer (as mentioned in the support thread).

What about razoredge's files? It should contain all you need to play, nothing else to install.

@Rei = It wasn't my idea to get the vista. It was my mom's. xD

@Pandora = Forgot to mention that I tried that too, but it that made my laptop go crazy on me. Plus it gave me more lag to deal with.

My laptop screen just goes on and off on me, but the good new is that I got rid of that just now. Still got the lag to deal with.

Also, after my updater finished updating and I started the game, nothing came up. So yeah. Imma just wait a bit.

well if you downloaded mine, nothing should've needed updating. As far as your screen going on and off that's probably your video drivers. If you mean the game popping up black then disappearing that would be your sound drivers. Simply turn the sound off via the game's setup and you'll be fine. (Which sounds like the real problem)
