Let's get back on topic. Ruwach and sight aren't working AS THEY SHOULD. Skills should work as they are meant to work. That is what keeps the game balanced. Don't complain about skills which work as they are meant to work. They are balanced. Your fault for not knowing how to beat them. When something is so utterly and completely broken like ruwach/sight then we should be complaining. You know what else we should be complaining about? Skills which don't even work. Those however, are getting fixed in the SVN update (or at least should be). Sight and Ruwach can be fixed now and should be fixed now.

The poll should give the option to change ones vote. That way people can change their mind if a convincing point is raised.

I dont think we should be focused on numbers as much as points. I've yet to see a good point against it being changed to normal. Based on that alone I believe change is inevitable. Worrying about the votes seems petty to me, so long as it is a somewhat realistic representation of what people want.

Edit: For example, at the moment it's 15 to 20. In the long run, that may as well be dead even. There are many more people on the server than 5.

Lol...it may not last long, but theirs no limit in casting ruwatch either. This has never really bothered me that much. Although i do think alittle that the skill sight is haxed hehe..but their stills ways to get around them without getting close to the person. Although sight is kind of haxxed... i kind of think cloak and hiding are a little haxxed too. In my opinion, i think that sight and ruwatch is a skill that balances out hiding and cloaking skill and theirs way to get around it, so i think we just have to learn to deal with it =/.

Draken has a good point, Hide and cloak are extremely powerfull skills.
I think Ruwatch is ok the way it is. From what I can read on gravity servers Forum , Many players sent complaints due to Ruwach change and , They are about to change it back.

On gravity I guess they talk about Ruwach range being lower than sight one. Betwen 4 squares (runwach) and 9 squares (sight) area the difference isn't that big. BUT betwen 9 squares and 25 (or even 36 if its 6x6 here) the difference is HUGE.

Ok folks, now for the finale. How about we try to work out a comprimise?

Judging on what everyone has said so far this is what I've come up with.

1. Change sight to normal, leave ruwatch alone. The reason being, ruwatch was smaller to begin with, and only preists can use it anyway, so there are fewer situations where you are going to run into ruwatch, as opposed to sight, which anyone and their grandma could have.

2. Only increase the range of sight and ruwatch by one cubic tile as opposed to tripling them. This will give sight and ruwatch their buffs without, (in theory) ruining a classes usefulness.

I'm partial to number 1 in particular, what do you guys think? Hopefully we can expand on this until mostly everyone is satisfied so that Panda can make a change. That definitely beats debating until the cows come home.

And when do the cows ever really come home?
