Why is telling people where the Advanced Fishing Spot and the Mining Location on @Main considered a spoiler or whatever?

Isn't the ONLY way of finding out where they are through word of mouth?
Is there an NPC or something that tells you where they are?
I don't understand why that's such a big deal.
Quests I can understand, but telling someone where to find AFS?

I'm just asking cause I've seen alot people whine and complain about someone mentioning where to find those places on @Main.
If you're not going to fish I don't see the big deal and if you are that's the only way to find out where the AFS is (as far as I know).

Well I saw that, but I didn't think the AFS was a quest, so that's why I started this thread.

it isnt a quest . its a place to go.
