Hatter Cards

I've been thinking about this for a while. How about adding an NPC that takes say 30, 40 or 50 cards and registers a specific card as a hatter card?

This amount will be cummlative. For example:

Player A has 5 ABC cards.
Player B has 4 ABC cards.
Player C has 3 ABC cards.
Player D has 7 ABC cards.
Player E has 14 ABC cards.
Player F has 6 ABC cards.
Player G has 5 ABC cards.
Player H has 11 ABC cards.

Total ABC cards: 55 cards.


This NPC basically will take any card you specify to it. It will keep a record of the TOTAL cards given to him from each player. So:

Player A turns in his 5 ABC cards.
Player B turns in his 4 ABC cards.
Player C turns in his 3 ABC cards.
Player D turns in his 7 ABC cards.
Player E turns in his 14 ABC cards.
Player F turns in his 6 ABC cards.
Player G turns in his 5 ABC cards.
Player H turns in his 11 ABC cards. Since the NPC adds a card as Hatter card when the total is 50, Player H will be able to turn in 5 ABC cards to the Hatter NPC because the total reached 50 when he turned in his 6th ABC card.

It doesn't have to be an NPC if it is too much work. A GM could make a topic and keep it updated on forums. This should flush out a lot of cards from the server. I bet many people have dozens of cards they have no use of whatsoever.

If turned cards are taken by the npc:

I dont think a lot of people will turn their card and lose potential hatter cards.

If turned cards are not taken by the npc:

People will turn them then trade them with their friends to reach the requiried amount(~50)

Hmm I'm not keen on making a NPC, but I'm very willing to listen to suggestions on which card ppl think should be added to hatter. I'm actually planning a Hatter update eventually where I was gonna add some cards.

Criterias:

- It should be a card that has a value UNDER the current value of hatter cards, which is about 400k?

- It should be a card that is not super useful (usually it wont pass the first criteria if it's useful anyway).

- There should be a lot available, aka not a rare card, should be a "common" card to fit with Mr. Hatter's description.

Are added to the NPC. I have 15+ of each of those. Kevin and other people have a similar amount. They don't sell for 500k. When it comes to usefulness... Can't remember the last time I've seen anyone trying to buy any of those cards.
