It's actually a minimum atk bonus every 5 and maximum attack every 7 Icon_wink
EDIT: Or was it 5 for maximum and 7 for minimum? Yeah, think it was that. The minimum is always much much lower.

Tell that to the wizard I created recently that got a bonus every 10 of int. Icon_confused

Different job classes get different bonuses. Wizards thrive on int and dex.

Good point. x.x;; But for some reason, I've never read about anything like that. The only instance I remember in stat's effecting people differently based on class was with archers and Dex. Heh. Makes sense though.

As far as I know, stats are universal Icon_confused

Where did you hear stats effect different classes differently anyway????
I mean... They effect ranged weapon different than melee, they effect katars differently, they have a special effect on hunters with falcon, but that's just features of equips\skills. Stats are universal

Oops, I'm thinking job level bonuses. Cause Wizzys get +12 int at job lvl 50, and Saders get +5 int.

When it comes to Bows, the attack formula doesn't work the same. It uses Dex as the main stat instead of strength. Granted that's not exactly class specific- but archer-classes are the only classes that can use bows(well, thief/rogue too) and you'll never see an archer not using a bow. <.< it just doesn't happen.

That was more or less what I was thinking of, and was the only thing I can think of where stats worked kind of differently for a class. He already explained what he meant anyway now. Icon_razz

Well my main aim was to have the fastest leveling Crusader, I thought a GC crusader would probably level the faster concidering he is mobbing and can heal and has fast MP regeneration.

Also about GC, there is something you have to keep in mind. Indeed it is ATK + MATK again's the DEF(+vit)/MDEF(+int) of the opponent.

GC with STR is not good, but I heard that if you equip Brocca, the GC will then become armor piercing (for the physical damage part) hence nearly double your damage. Its only a theory but I think it would be worth it if I ever get the weapon.

Anyway, what do you believe would be the best leveling build for a crusader?
