F.x Wrote:i've read everything here. the problem wasnt explained 'properly'

Gurtrude's main point isnt about adding ANYTHING to improve GS.
the main problem that he has brought up ISNT about how GS is inferior than a trans class.

i just tested this with him in pvp and witnessed the problem.

when he cast a skill (either desperado or full buster) we SEE the dmg output/numbers but the dmg does Not register on the enemy after a solid second.
unlike a CT/DS where u lose hp the moment u see the dmg

*thoughts* (just some thoughts)
-this doesnt have to do with aspd cuz its not a problem of 'spammability'
-this isnt animation delay cuz its not the animation thats delaying, but instead the time it takes for the dmg to register on the enemy

dmg not registering when its supposed = bug...

prove me wrong, i'd appreciate it Ok

GM-Ayu Wrote:Damage delay is a client side thing. A few sprites have the attack animation out of sync compare to when the game deals with the calculation. Dark Illusion, Alice and a few others have this because their attack animation end too quickly.

"Fixing" this involves a lot of not-very-balanced game aspect that may seem to get Full Buster back on par with AV, but at the same time, you enter the realm of 'HWSB" (the infamous chicken abuse).

Summary: the delay is sprite dependent. If you want a mild fix to the problem, play female gunslinger instead of male.

Are you SURE you read the whole thread?

@Ayu wtf!!???that is uber sexist Sweat

Every class has a gender preference because of sprite alone. It's just how it works.

RE: The super Gunsligner thread!

By client, you mean what?
The .exe, or client to the server? If its the .exe, it can be modified. If its client like used in network language, it would mean its because I lag.

But, when I used rapid shower, I have no delay. When I hit with fist, no delay, if I hit with machine gun, no delay, if I hit with dust, no delay.
Still, I really don't understand why it would be normal.

What makes me also be confused is that playing a girl slinger would fix it...

Edit: Then, can you make my slinger a female and see if it gets better? If yes, then the problem is '''SOLVED'''. If no, well. We will see.

RE: The super Gunsligner thread!

heh, i did say female but really the change is very small... someone was just crazy enough to do enough testing to prove that females are so mildly better by 10^-1 of a second difference or something >>;

so when I said mild, I really mean it XD;

RE: The super Gunsligner thread!

But in the thread, they talk about after cast delay. Not about the time before the dmg register on someone. Finally, it could be linked?

Just had some great other case in pvp today. a champ who died right after I died from asura...

Edit: Well finally, I had not read the complete topic.
