How do you refer to soft drinks?

Krim, people in the fat are more obese not cause of only what they call it, its a dietary factor too, too many southerners love their fried food. :s

I call it soda by the way. Somehow though this makes me an abnormality in the state of GA, not a surprise since I'm not really a native of this state and have moved around to only like 7 different places my whole life.

On a personnal note, I tend to adapt to where I am.??For exemple, when in Kevin's house, or elsewhere for table-top games I'll use 'glu' too

When I'm ordering in a drive-tru, I'll just use the name of the beverage I want.??

I have been used to use "boissons gazeuses" (gazified beverage) by my parents.??

I move about every six months.??I've been to 27 different schools in my entire life; and I only have a 8.5-grade education!??

can someone explain to me why calling it soda is ok and calling it pop is wrong?
I call it pop, i thought it was called sodapop a long time ago.

yeah

i consider soda a completely different thing, like for me
soda = jones soda, theres also another kind that escapes me at present, though i use the term for carbonated fruit drinks moreso than things like pepsi, mt dew, and dr pepper
