long live Mamoru Oshii, long live Ghost in a Shell!!!

for one oshii makes really deep and interesting anime, but i like how he twist the stories. i am kinda disapointed with the ghost in a shell innocence tho. kinda predictable towards the end.

i love how he turns the story of red riding hood into an interesting twist in jin roh. and those tachikoma are so adorable.

how'l moving castle is not as great as mononoke hime or nausicaa, elfenlied is really sick, but facinating. bleach, well, fillers need to be slaughtered with the utmost cruelty and horrific mutilation and sadism. there i finally said it. i hate those g*****n fillers, other than that i am ok with it.

dbz, well up to dbz is good, after that i felt as tho it shot downhill. if you like flashy action, watch karas, it is cool (but only 3 ep long)

i want to watch "tales of GED" by the younger miyazaki, strangely i heard the miyazaki senior and miyazaki junior had an argument over the anime as the elder thinks the son lacks passion for his work. i am just hoping it is as good as his father's work.

oh btw, i also heard gainax is remaking evangelion, anyone heard anything more about that?

Yeah, loved jin roh too! Very nice use of the red riding hood. And wicked twist.

I can't wait to see tales from the earthsea, the latest ghibli. I've also heard that Miyazaki and his son are not on friendly terms. Just imagine how hard it must be to be the son of the master of animation, pretty big shoes to fill..

And /no1 for hating fillers, no one should support fillers. Puke at filler-filled shows like dbz and naruto..

I just love animes with great detail to the art and ones that dont just flash between 2 frames during long talking scenes. lol You all know what I mean, and all the popular animes do it when the artists get lazy. XP

Oh, I must ask... I remember a bit from a looong time ago, but dunno what it was. There was a girl, and she had a gun, she was facing a creature with a little 1/2 white, 1/2 black mask, thing... and suddenly the creature rips in half, and a guy is inside, saying for her to kill him, but she cant do it, and she shoots too late as the creature takes him over again... Thats all I remember, but I MUST find this anime...

anything thats really dramatic and has cool fighting and mature situations... like someone's sister gets kidnapped and then the protagonist is like I WILL AVENGE YOU in a really dramatic tone and then he fights the bad guys in a really cool way with a sword, or maybe a giant robot. but then he LOSES so he has to train and build up his body so that he can get to the next level but there is always bad things going on so he always has to fight and fight and have really dramatic cut scenes where his parents get assassinated and his girlfriend gets raped by his arch nemesis/rival and she LIKES IT and... and... and then he finally beats the bad guy. and then a new saga starts
