I'm well aware the face is a distinguishing mark. Thus, when I try to stay ambiguous I refrain from it's use as much as possible.
Also, the title was after the fact. What's the point in trying to remain anonymous if half the server already knows anyway?

I'm well aware of what the dot is called as well. That persons exact words however, did not include "period". It was referred to as "dot", and I quoted it exactly...as "dot". <- Wait...oh my god quotation marks! That means they are exact wording! Hmmmm.
