I like the 12 hours then 24 hours then 36 and so on, just cause since it's so HARSH they don't do it again! It's kinda the point. And I get to point and laugh.

RE: Bail for jailed characters?

This seems like another issue with vendor/merchant placement (merchant map suggestion). Read the rules and avoid trying to make comparison's with yer old server. Each server has its own logic and reasons behind things.

I like the parole idea (with de-leveling) from Legendary Joe though that would NEVER happen simply because that would create more whining.

And as for bail, the rich in this game already get enough advantages, jailing is the only way to make them feel as normal as everyone else with "time out"

RE: Bail for jailed characters?

Its your own responcebility to read and know the rules, if you break them you gotta accept the consequences for it.

Bail is just the easy way to get ride of your punishment, even if you ask alot of zeny for it, it won't motivate players to think about their actions or (re)read the rules.

Getting more jailtime for repeatable rulebreaking is a good idea, it will make people think twice before breaking a rule twice or more.

Maybe a test npc where you can awnser questions about the rules for less jail time or before being able to get out of jail...

B> heRO Guardian in jailcell, only difference you are forced to answer every question about rules so you can't spam enter out of it. >:3
This way, GMs and Moderators don't have to always free them manually as they can be freed after their time has served via the heRO Guardian. I'm not sure if this can be scripted though.

I think I'm finally going "home", renewal is fun, but there is really nothing like "heRO"...

Yeah, it should be doable with the newer HeRO Guardian, might just have to change some lines and add some others.
