I never did get to pal around much with Guil. I remember he was the nicest and easiest guy to get along with in Behemoth, when I first joined the server a few years ago.

For reasons, I left Behe and never had much else to do with them. I still shouted out to Guil, or pm'd him occasionally...just to say hi.

He was one of the few players I actually looked up to, as odd as that may sound. My first character was a paladin, and I was never any good with it. I'd say he is the absolute best at it, hands down. Seeing him single-handedly tank what, 100+ kasa and guardians at a ToH last year---that was really something.

I thought I had the screenshots from the event still-I checked...can't find them. Maybe if I run across them, I can post the ones I took.

I started playing a little bit during the birthday/halloween events and saw him in town. This kind of shocks me, I'd never imagine someone close to the community's heart like this would pass so early.

God bless his soul, and I second Weapon's proposal. Something should show the players to come, and those that never knew him, what he was worth to many of the players on HeRO.

It's still hard to believe...I didn't know him personally, but I knew of him and he always seemed so nice and it makes me sad. My condolences to his friends and family...

Just now received this news via Tak on FB.

Although I don't believe I knew Guillermo extraordinarily well, I've been around long enough to know he deserved a proper peaceful send off such as Lena detailed.

In my foggy memory, I remember everyone was happy to interact with Guillermo.??I myself have happy feelings when I think of him; I can only deduce that this comes from all the positive relations of his I've seen over the years.??He was on of the few people I didn't have hesitant feelings in regards to engaging him (with my level of social anxiety).

I'm not sure what weight the words of a pseudo-stranger hold, but I'm confident in Lena's depiction of him.??Even though I profess allegiance to a certain religion, I'm not certain what the afterlife bears.??But if there are two sides to it, I'm sure Guillermo is enjoying the brighter of them.


My words are a tad late, but I hope we are enjoying his memory more than we mourn his loss. Enjoy life because of him, rather than in spite of him.

Tomorrow it'll be the 5 month mark, kinda hard to believe it's been that long, but time only goes on.
