For today's story, here's picture from a Trials of Heroes in 2007!




Back then PVP was all done manually by the gm, as was trivia and the Mass Battle. The item part of the ToH was automated however. It was (and still is) done on a map cloned from Alberta.

Monster Trial was also already automated, on a different map than we use today. After the Trials of Heroes event, players used to line up in front of the gm to trade in their voucher manually for wings/helm, before the npc that does it automatically was added.
