HeRO has a total of 1258 chars that have a spouse.

Changes were made to the Prontera church to allow same-sex wedding back in October of 2006, just a few days before the server's first birthday. heRO had gay weddings before the UK, Germany, France, Australia and the USA!

More heRO churches were opened in 2007, they were in Hugel and Lutie. In 2009 we added the Allegiance Churches of Glastheim (Dark) and Rachel (Light). 2014 saw the addition of the The Neko Island church. The last addition was the Carandel church in Faeheim in 2018.

Special weddings officiated by a GM have been offered before in the Fairy Auction. There was even one that was hosted at the top of Thanatos Tower!
