The november patch is all thats needed for hero by the way.

We've tested with fresh ro + sakray + november patch and it worked.

Please please don't use the hero patcher thingy thats really old.

Did you manage to create a character, like did that error show up as you were login your character in or before?

I haven't been able to create a character at all; Whenever I try to reach the login screen, the client automatically crashes before anything can happen and so this error appears.

This is confusing. I used the update patcher and Mine works.

One of you says do RO + Sak(Patch) + nov update

And one says sak(dont patch) + heRO patcher + nov update.

x.x who is right? Do both methods work perfectly?

lol I'd listen to the GM I'm just going by what works in my folder x_X I just don't have ro (not counting sakray) at all but I installed the full installer provided by heRO >.>;;

Well monthly patch, november in this case, is a must (without it your client wont connect to the server ip), I think it doesnt matter if you used the hero patcher before that, but its best not to. full installer + november patch after should work too technically.

Are you 2 on a network in the same place? You could try sharing your working folder to your girlfriend, she could make an exact copy of yours.

Also, make sure you have enough free space on your computer, programs often crash when the computer doesnt have enough temporary memory.

Can you copy the content of your data.ini ?

We're working on it still. The guy said "dont patch". Are we not supposed to fully patch RO and Sakray? By the way, yes, this is korean RO I'm talking about. We've been patching them all this time.

Using the hero patcher is bad. Always start hero with the hero.exe

Don't know if this is any different to you than what the others said but...

1. Create a folder called heRO
2. Install the Korean Ragnarok Online client into it
3. Install the Korean Sakray Client into it
4. Download the latest (November) patch here
5. Extract the .zip folder
6. Copy all of the contents of the zip folder into the heRO folder, overwriting if prompted
   

Try this or let me know if you already have.

well I'll try to help again /swt but the easiest and quickest way will probably be to copy the folder over from your computer to hers.

The way they have it is:

Install kRO - patch
Install Sakray - patch
Install heRO
Install november patch

I'm slapping my folder into a rar file then will be uploading it shortly if that doesn't happen to work x_x
