I'm leaning more towards yes, because then i can stop making new sages. Also, then vets can help level newer players, while appearing like blatant carry, which might discourage them.

Also, re the prize - it should not give a permanent advantage that is also accumulative (like base weight increase), because then it'll just reinforce vet advantage.

Let's cut this RNG cult bullshit here. Religion in RO isn't going to help anyone or cure badly executed game design.

Yes, everyone can get it but it is still a vet advantage just because heRO has existed for years. Vets get to have a gargantuan lead of head start if a feature like this releases due to the amount of characters, gears, zeny, knowledge and connections they have. This is not a entirely new thing that requires relearning, regearing, or any starting effort for vets with the traits I just stated. By the time a new player is able to reach their first rebirth, a veteran could have already reached much more than that.

There is no veteran giving rope in any of this. It is the veterans being given rope here. This is the gameplay equivalent of giving an airplane to the veteran at the start of the race. You can exert all the effort you want, learn how to order a plane ticket or build you own plane if you want but that veteran would have already flown across the world many times by the time you can catch up.

This is not something you want especially when high end PVM and PVP parties are almost always the same people for months while newcomers take forever to penetrate any of the two scenes.

tldr: vet advantage.

Yes, there are many ways, some are better than other. But in a game of low chances, if you dont stay dedicated and rely only in pure luck in few kills, you'll get frustrated after couple hours and quit it later.
And that its not the correct attitude to it.

I dont think you believe into things going the way you want the first time you do them, or conquer the goal you desire the first day you set it up for yourself.

Actually, maybe the reward being something similar to increased base maximum weight and also stackable, may be good o_O
New players will notice how much quicker vets are able re-trans, gaining all those amazing advantages, which will encourage new players to work harder, and put more effort into a game, in order to trans faster
