We customized Ruwatch and Sight range on the server, so that has nothing to do with SVN for this particular aspect.

...I hope you change sight and ruwach to their official range. It is really unbalanced if you get pulled out of hide or cloak when the fireball hasn't even come close to you.

Back to topic. A progress report thread would be really nice. It would really help to keep the server moral up. We are all tired of waiting for the new svn and being able to see the progress really helps. It might even open doors to player involvement.

........ ..... ..... Stalker...already nerfed class compared to sins....... all they have better is tunnel drive and stealth... + sight ruwatch bigger.... meaning no more tunnel drive boost.... = if your making a pvp rogue... GOOD LUCK!!!

Well by customise, it's more like we made them like old RO used to be, because 3 tile range was too small. If you unclock a sin 3 tiles from you.. he's pretty much already in range to attack you XD We tought it best this way and have not heard any complaints before today..

"have not heard any complaints before today" /swt. You should listen to my guild chat every time I sneak into a castle (if I happen to forget the range is hax) Icon_suprised. I've always thought it (ruwach) would get 'fixed' when the new SVN comes along. I think gravity made the range less not so that an assassin can hit someone as they are getting de-cloaked but so that when you walk on a path the person using ruwach actually has to be in the same path as you. The range wouldn't be a big deal to me if it didn't work through walls. The less range adds a lot to WoE strategy and defense. In my opinion skills should all work as they are intended to as lain out by the official servers. They know what they are doing and do in fact try to keep the game balanced. Some official things may seem very unbalanced at first glance. If you think about it though, it only opens the doors to new thinking and strategy.

I agree with Kadar here...I started on this server playing a rogue and I must say that its nearly impossible to infiltrate a castle if only one ennemy has sight/runwach on since the range is ?berbig.
