Regarding fish/pot spamming in WoE

Necroing this post, but it's for a good cause.

Everyone give your thanks to Loki, who found a workaround way to add a visual effect to the fishies. We've decided on a sort of blue bubble animation.

It is on purpose that all fish have the same visual effect, if you see bubbles you know the person is eating fish, but it could be anything from guppy to nemo.

Will most likely be updating this tomorrow.

Some fish also get new colors to better distinguish them in your inventory/storage, guppy (red), trout (orange) and bass (yellow). Made by Kadar and I.

Changes to the fishing system are still being worked on, thanks to those who are contributing.

Change to the fishing script still in progress, since fishing is very randomised it's hard to see how a change affects the overall results, lots of testing is needed. Not many people came to help test, thanks to those who did so far: azurerogue & ZackFireblade.

I must admit, I didn't read the last 20 pages.

So fish won't be disabled in the future in WoE/PvP?

If you have ever experienced a good WoE without any fish, Ygg and even Potions, you will love the new team work, that your guild has developed.
Conc/Awakening/Berserk Potion,Green Potions and Panacea is all you need for Woe/PvP!

Image, how usefull Priests, Alchemists and Profs will become :O

Imagine how even more unbreakable a good precast will be...

Most chars already die as soon as the room is loaded... those that survive the first (!!) hit of SG, MS and whatever's going 'round, do so with little hp, where pot spamming IS the only way to survive. (not to mention moving around being DSd by Snipers, CTd by WS or ADd by Creaors). Most of the time attacking I can't spam pots fast enough to survive. If I had no pots at all available, I woudn't see much point in participating in WoE again, since your guild's HPs, Profs and Creators will NOT be able to help you survive the precast.

there's still a way to get by magic without GTB and Uber Mdef (lol if half the precast has??Staff of Piercing) and fish??in WoE, and I'm sort of surprised to see that I haven't seen anyone using it since?? they changed it to how it's supposed to work. (not saying how /gg


I don't mind if fish are left or not left, I'm usually one of the wizzies on the back lines, and the Creator/HP keep my SP up,??and I prefer aloe leaflets to fish anyway. Lighter weight = Moar heals
