Best Knight//Lord Knight- Cucu
-parties with him the most and current guild leader so of course naturally biased... However, powerful with reasonable high endurance. Perhaps he may not have those whatever bench mark for str (or whatever LK was suppose to have that Mr. Silvanel mentioned back then), but it seems that it was a reasonable sacrifice for being well rounded for most situations.
Best Assassin//Assassin Cross- aLba
-lower damage output again than Mr. teOx in those thanatos party with breaker, but far higher in endurance to be able to take some hits from the angels for a short while (while most other sinx tends to be forced to backslide on the point of death.) Again in the perspective of a PvM High Priestess, it's a lot easier and a better partner than to go with sinx who has maybe 3k hp and dies in 3 hits? Too bad Namin?'s elementary school level french doesn't allow her to understand most of what Mr. aLba says ^_^;
@ Mr. teOx: but the requirements also mention accomplishment? Selling glasses[1] away is probably *not* an accomplishment =P. On the other hand, assembling the only Helmet of the Sun God, is. (There maybe more than one, but that's the only one left in the hands of *active* players)
Best Hunter//Sniper- Huntress
-win by default? hardly partied with other snipers/hunters except a few from LW and BSL. Foresight to set traps in advance in an encounter at the slightest hint of the front line having difficulty is far greater than DSing mindlessly until they need a res, which is what most Hunters do.
Best Priest//High Priest- Maiden
-Guess Namin? will go against the norm here... but Namin? personally considers it important to have a balance in both defense instead of just against physical/neutral. Ms Maiden is probably the only one who doesn't get struck to the red if hit by Dolor's JT-28, because she is well rounded for both physical and magical defense, without sacrificng elemental defenses for the sake of neutral resistance. It's more helpful in an overall sense~ Better heal quantity and buff speed than Namin? can ever do herself u_u
Best Wizard//High Wizard- none
-hardly ever partied with any of them... lot of wizards, but not many survive the "what to do after geographer" stage to live to trans o_O;
Best Black Smith//White Smith- Melvin
-part of being a smith is the merchant perspective too... never partied with Mr. Melvin (really should, some day?), but always have very enjoyable and friendly business relationships. A lot less forgetful than Namin? in finding each other for deals, well on-time and very precise about prices in every occassion. Always out to make fair deals that is beneficial to everyone in the trade~
Best Crusader//Paladin- none
-the last time with Mr. Krimlin is so long ago in previous svn... can't really say. Will leave this blank for now.
@ Mr. Krimlin: last time was like randomly going to Vesper back in June u_u; That was quite awhile ago... Don't recall Mr. Krimlin using GC back then, although everyone else here mentioned GC to be a signature move for Mr. Krimlin. Not too fair to write his name down here anyway without seeing it in person, pyo?
Best Rogue//Stalker- none
Never partied with one... Mr. Yanos, once. That's it for almost one year of pvm experience for Rogue/Stalker. Guess Stalkers hide until woe time.
Best Bard//Clown- Cactuar
Again, hardly partied with any other Clowns... win by default? Funny and entertaining duo with Mr. Jazz in parties
Other clowns just want a lex, and hope AV does the rest. Mr. Cactuar can determine when does that classical AV work, but when is it necessary to go back to DS and many other options.
Best Dancer//Gypsy- None
The only Gypsy to party with is Ms. Reira, and that's one whole SvN ago in Bio, where nobody does anything but mindlessly buff/attack, while letting Mr. Ex live/die rooting things. Not really a fair criteria to judge Ms. Reira's true talent hm?
Best Monk//Champion- Bloody
-Is it even a contest when it comes to all of his accomplishments and reputation? When one champion is able to determine for the rest of the server, if they should even bother having MvP parties (excluding ones that is known by everyone else to be "not on the list"), that is worthy of being called the best in itself. Don't worry, one day surely sir will figure out a way to OHKO someone with GR/Raydric/Thara/Beret/Assump~ Almost there!
Best Sage//Professor- none
Finally having some small interaction with this class, but again highly limiting and not fair to judge their skills on it...
Best Alchemist//Biochemist- Silvanel
Again, accomplishment is a criteria and that is what Mr. Silvanel can do. 6 hours to get from 97/67 to 99/70 solo on a low rate is a huge accomplishment, as even the entire @main was saying how it was impossible. He did the impossible.
Best Gunslinger- none
They exist outside of biolab1 and plant monster maps?
Best Ninja- none
They are so professional at being a ninja that Namin? never noticed their existence.
Best Taekwon- Nyuu
When TK (which is forever bounded to no weapon cards) can kill faster than a 140~ish dex Dancer of similar level with double drainliar gakkung bow with wind arrows spamming DS... rather amazing. New svn upset quite a few of former TK rankers regarding the changes, but Ms. Rei 18 pulled through and continued to stay devote to be a ranker TK.
Best Star Gladiator- none
There's hardly any SG. The rumored best SG played by Mr. Sekaru is in a "basically retired" state, so Namin? has never seen one really except the ones made to do nothing but float with union in town.
Best Soul Linker- Krogoth
The only other active 95+ Linker besides Namin?'s own linker... it maybe old SvN, but a Soul Linker soloing Evil Snake Lord is a strong accomplishment (ESL really didn't change all that much in the svn compare to other MvPs, so it's safe to say that the accomplishment "carries" over)
Best Super Novice- Marshmellow
Besides being the only 99 SN, Namin? does have one very small PvP experience against the infamous 99 SN in alde back then... fun times of SC 10 vs FD/lightning bolt scrolls to stall each other out for a good 5 minute at least....
Guess it is a compliment Ms Loveless...?
But would just like everyone to see something:
Look at who people voted for, and who voted for them. Look at the join date of the people who voted... it is not that they are purposely "breaking rules because they fail at reading" but simply those are the people who are around when they first started heRO. First impressions of strength and accomplishments give the best image of being forever best at the job.
Namin? did join LW and partied with people who are on friendly terms with LW the most, and since they have the advantage of making the first impression for a particular class, that is why Namin?'s list is skewed towards her first acquaintances in this server for the most part.
Can voting for the best really say what is best? Not really for most cases... but it reveals who made the first/strongest impression for a particular class to some people.
