RE: How fast is the speed of dark?

You look to the sky and a star catches your eye. Tomorrow that star will die. Does the light continue its journey, or is it sucked up by the darkness?

Darkness cannot remain where there is light. Take a dense object, black in color, and paint it in a transparent color. Can you now see through it?
Just as transparency cannot remain where there is color, darkness cannot remain where there is light.

There is darkness in a box. You turn on a bright light in the whole room. The darkness is cornered, but does it remain? Where can it go?

Light has control over dark. If dark were faster than light it would envelope light. If it were the same speed it could be caught.
