RE: Old School RPG's

Anyone got/played Tales of Phantasia for SNES/PSX/PSP??

I'm a huge fan of the SNES version and finished downloading the PSX one. Just started playing it, it's mostly a remake with renewed sprites, some better graphics/sounds, they changed some details on the maps and the world map is not the 2D-like one that looks the same in every SNES game like FF series ones. It's now 3D on PSX xP

I'll go into more details later on that version as soon as I play it some more and get nearer the end.
But this is truly one of the best games I've ever played, I really recommend it.

Valkyrie profile is quite nice, but i hate the un-interruptible cut scenes and the fact that my copy got broken... /sob

anyway, HATE the un-interruptible cut scenes...

tales of phantasia i think i played the SNES version... it's the one where you set the actions of the other party members and you yourself move in a 2-d environment to bash the bad guys rite? talking sword?
or did i get that mixed up?

RE: Old School RPG's

His bow damage is freaking high but he doesn't have any skill (notice a 0 just after his HP, it's his TP, which is used on skills) on SNES version and he can get lv99 easily, I don't know why that happens though o.o''
However he's a lot better on PSX version, the poor guy finally got skills although his damage was lowered but overall the damage is actually better assuming he's using his skills.
Again, play that game! You won't regret it o_o

I actually played Skies of arcadia, the remake on Gamecube anyway. Probably one of my favorite RPG's so far, but I suppose having a gamecube makes me a bit starved for RPG's in general. Icon_razz

Still an awesome game, a lot of junk to do.

Does anybody here remember Vera Lynn?
