Happy Belated Halloween
Happy belated Halloween! Better 2 months late than never, right?
Ferre's Playground is the 2023 Halloween Quest, but it'll be a permanent addition to heRO. During the quest period, rewards are boosted. The quest starts in Tessera (134,180) and requires 25 Faeheim Reputation Points. If you want more information, please click on the link. Completion of the quest allows you access to Ferre's Playground as an instance, which is heRO's latest dungeon. Although it is a high-end dungeon, this one is very different in setup. You'll have to visit it and find out just how different it is!
This is the most complex dungeon that heRO has ever released, and we hope that it'll have a very different feel to some parts of the dungeon compare to anything you have seen on any RO servers anywhere. Come and join the Ferres to sing and dance the night away!
Here are the monsters' stats in the playground, beware of spoilers! Just because you know their stats and skills, don't think that this is all that the playground has to offer. Fairies and their piano friends have many tricks up their sleeves...
These monsters are added to Dead Branches. However, Awakened Ferre is not available in Bloody Branch. You'll see why if you reach it in person...
Upon quest completion, you can obtain the Halloween costume, Costume Diabolic Headphone.
Impress the Ferres and Jitterbug by playing with them across as many rooms as possible, and you can win the elusive Costume Diabolic Rock Guitar garment costume! It'll go well with your new headphones from the Halloween Quest!
Monster Rebalance
- Kushiel drop table has improved alongside its accessory, Ring of Angel Whisper, being reworked. Now it has a chance to drop up to 2 Past Anniversary Gear Box as a way for you to obtain the gears outside of birthday month.
- Levia Lusca no longer drops Saphien's Armor of Ocean[0] but has a new item instead Chillfrost Breastplate along with a chance to drop Seafoam
- King Kray has a chance to drop Saphien's Armor of Ocean[0] as the new source of the armor
- Skreio drops a new powerful weapon for Blacksmiths, the Mine Worker Pickaxe, instead of Royal Gold Bullion. It also drops much more Steel than before.
Kraken also joins Bloody Branch as an available MVP!

The following items are newly or rebalanced added but are unrelated to Ferre's Playground. The ingame item description is not updated, so here are their effects.
- Ring of Angel Whisper has new effect to allow Impositio Manus casting. If the user has mastered Impositio Manus and has more than 50 base Strength, then enable use of Level 10 Impositio Manus instead.
- Chillfrost Breastplate gives 5 MDEF. For each Refine Rate of this equipment, add a 3% chance to inflict the Frost status on an enemy when the user receives Physical Damage.
- Faceworm Card currently only available in OCA and DCA
- Mine Worker Pickaxe
The new cards are all added to DCA and OCA accordingly.
Jewelry Box's item rarity has changed. The following item are now more common, moved from the "rare" to the "uncommon" category
