A forgetful Bathory needs your help to remember a recipe!

Steps

1. Talk to Bathory, located in Prontera a few steps south of the central Kafra area (/navi prontera 152/173). Agree to help her, and you will be warped to an instanced area. If for any reason you cannot complete the instance, either by dying, logging out or running out of time, you will have to bring 10 Needles of Alarm (Item ID 1095) to Bathory to return to the instance.
   
   
2. Inside the instance, click on the desk and you will have to fight a miniboss with about 40,000 HP. It is advised to bring Demihuman race or Undead property related gears here to ease the fight.
   
   
3. Once defeated, you will be warped to a different instance, where you must locate the recipe Bathory wanted. Remember it or take a screenshot in order to prevent requiring more items later in the quest!
   
   
4. After locating the recipe, you will be warped to yet another instance. Some dialogue with Bathory later, you will be warped back to an inn in Prontera.
   
   
5. Talk to Bathory at her similar previous spot in Prontera and input the ingredients from the recipe. If you fail enough times, you will have to bring 5 Star Dust and 10 Witched Starsand to try to input ingredients again. Each time you fail afterward, you'll have to bring these ingredients again. The ingredients are as shown below, depending on the potion you are required to make:

6. At this point, you can bring Bathory the ingredients, or speak to her again without them. If you do talk to her without these ingredients, you will have to play a numbers game similar to the Thanatos Tower one in order for Bathory to have access to the safe with her ingredients. If you fail the numbers game 30 or more times, you can choose to bring her the ingredients again.
   Note: Apparently the quest is specifically made to not work with the Thanatos Tower numbers game solving site.
   
   
7. After Bathory has all the ingredients, either via the numbers game or because you brought them, she will ask you to wait. The wait time is anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes.
   
   
8. Afterward, Bathory will ask you to find a random person that the potion belongs to. This part may be difficult because you only have a few minutes to find the NPC. These are the following:
   • Hector, King Ernst's private doctor, is located in Prontera Castle, on the second hallway to the left. (/navi prt_castle 70/114)
   • Michael can be found in Moscovia's rural areas, near the docks, behind a tree. (/navi moscovia 233/82)
     Note: Head to the Alberta Docks (/navi alberta 245/62) to get a ride to Moscovia if you do not have the Moscovia town warp unlocked.
   • Margareth is in Yuno on the easternmost bridge. (/navi yuno 332/153)
     Note: Go from Geffen to Aldebaran to Yuno via Kafra Teleportation service if you do not have the Yuno town warp unlocked.
     
     
9. Lastly, Bathory will ask you to find one more NPC:
   • The Cat is located in Yuno somewhat north of the library. (/navi yuno 354/254)
   • Melvin can be found in Lighthalzen in front of Kiehl's house. (/navi lighthalzen 204/201)
   • Howard is in front of the Blacksmith Guild. (/navi einbroch 121/188)
   • Catlin is in Veins, in some kind weird dead-end on the central eastern part of the map. (/navi veins 336/136)
   • Baba Yaga is in Moscovia, on the northeast side of the map, behind the inn. (/navi moscovia 254/232)
     
     
10. Once you bring the items, the quest will be completed, and you will be able to choose one of the following rewards:
    
    • Costume Halloween Hat (Different from Requiem Hat)
      
    • Past Halloween Hat Box (Contains 1x headgear from past Halloween Quests)
      

    You will also obtain 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, or 50% Base Exp depending on your level, and 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, or 100% Job Exp depending on your level (Percentages not fully confirmed).

    Additionally, if you are Lv 99 or Job Lv 70 you will get 1 Damp Card album, but if you are Lv 99 AND Lv 70 you will get 1 hat voucher.
